according to pwmania.com,JR's WWE contract expires this year.apparently theres talk of him being replaced..............by micheal cole question

OH, sadness! They can't do that! It just wouldn't be the same without JR. Why would they go and change/ruin a good thing?

I doubt it, after JUST getting into the hall of fame, I'd guess he'll end up retiring in 2 or 3 years but not this year, what with Austin here right now, and I think once Austin leaves Jr will leave the year after

drwow I doubt it, after JUST getting into the hall of fame, I'd guess he'll end up retiring in 2 or 3 years but not this year, what with Austin here right now, and I think once Austin leaves Jr will leave the year after but the whole wrestlemania looks to have been just a one time thing for austin.hes cant wrestle due to his long term back problem,plus he stated in an interview that hes done now with wrestling.

Why would they do that? Who would they put with JBL on Smackdown then? I don't think he will, I think he will continue to comentate for as long as he possibly can.

I have to say, I think Cole deserves the spot. He's worked hard. The fact of the matter is, NO one is going to be Jim Ross. It's just not going to happen. In my view though, the best choice would be Joey Styles.

Alucard Collins I have to say, I think Cole deserves the spot. He's worked hard. The fact of the matter is, NO one is going to be Jim Ross. It's just not going to happen. In my view though, the best choice would be Joey Styles. Don't forget though, Joey Styles was on RAW at on point but left RAW do to the Spirit Aquad, Jerry "The King" Lawler(Spelt wrong, I know) and Jim Ross and went to ECW.

People hold ur tears, its a rumor. It didnt say that they are going to replace him. There's a rumor that he might be replaced by Michael Cole as the #1 annoucer in the WWE. not replacing him in his chair on Raw. In JR's site he said that he is not intending to retire or leave WWE for quite a long time.
