Kajika was laughing as he ran the world around him seemed as if it was a green blurr. The colt had recently opened from his basket and ever since then had been on the go. It seemed during all the time he was kept in the basket he had enegery he needed to get out. The fallen log ahead of him would be no problem. He grinned and tucked his head and he had seen older children do.

All too late he realised that lump of brown in the distance wasnt a log, but another foal. His eyes went wide and instead of jumping over it with out a care he balked and tried to apply the brakes. His tiney hooves dug into the soil, but he was still aimed towards the other foal. "Ahhhh move!" he called out, but he feared it was too late.

Waya had been watching the children play, the other watchful eyes of the parents keeping an eye as well. It seemed as if all the mares had become laiden with foals around the same time and now the valley where they lived was full of new life. Kajika would have gone unoticed if it wasnt for Waya. He watched his clever son wander into the woods and with a quiet chuckle ne silently walked in after him. Giving the colt plenty of room to play and yet keep a good eye on him.

The sudden stop sent him flying head over hooves. He blinked a bit as her stared up at the sky....why was the sky green and leafy? And what was this pressure on his head.

The clouds cleared and he finally realised that in the tussle he had ended up upside down. Rolling over quickly he snorted and fought to remove himself from the tangle of legs. "ahh...we'll if you had just moved!" He snorted and shook his head. "'Sides what the 'ell you doing layin' here in the middle o' a medow... Layin smack dab in the middle o' things so people haft ta be passin by or over you!"

He flattened his ears against his head and glared at the other colt, not wanting to believe that it was all his fault that he'd crashed...too stuborn for that.


Waya heard the shouting and quickened his pace...who knew what his son may have gotten himself into. He sighed a little and made his way into the shadows. It was then he could see his son squaring off with another colt... and who was that on the other side of the medow there? He squinted his blue eyes into the darkness.

Kaj snorted indignatly, Still not wanting to believe it was his fault. He finally sighed and bowed his head a little, looking at the ground. "Alright alright... I'm sorry ok? I thought you where a log." At that last statment he looked up at his fellow colt with a dashing childish grin that was full of life and engery. "I was hoping I could jump you, cause... You looked pretty big an all... woulda been find iffin you where a log an all.. But you wasnt. When I realized you wasnt a log I tried to stop... couldnt In time though. " he shruged his shoulders a bit. "Sorry bout that... didnt hurt ya none did I?" he asked, not noticing the dark stallion approching them.

Waya finally realised the figure as he approched from the shadows. It was Rahu, but just what was he doing here? He raised an eyebrow as he watched the stallion approch the colts. Fatherly nature wanted him to rush from his cover of darkness and to the aid of his son. Yet he stayed... he wanted to see what Rahu wanted.

"Yeah, Prolly, But that dont change what happened now do it?" He said with a small shrug of his shoulders to the colt. " I am sorry, whether that helps none or not." The colt blinked his cool blue eyes at the dark stallion that approched. He was dark as the night...and he seemed mean. Just an aura he had. The colt took a step or two back from the stallion as he repremanded the other colt. Must be his dad!

Waya finally broke from the shadows and made his way into the medow with a light chuckle. "Kajika... is that how you make friends now? Running into them? I suppose its not a bad why but I can think of a few more that may be more effective."

"Yes Pa." Said the colt as he skipped and jumped to his fathers side.

"Rahu... " Waya said with a Nod of his head.

Ooooh, So Pa knew the dark one then? Friends?

Kaj felt a little better as the other colt finally relinquished a bit and admitted that he shouldnt have snapped at him. He nodded his head at the other colt and offered a bit of a smile. "Its ok.. I'll be more careful next time. "

Waya chuckled softly at Rahu. "It does appear that alot has changed. Is he yours?" He asked with a flick of his head towards the red brown colt. "This is Kajika, One of my Three. Thought I must admit." he glanced at his son with a grin. "He's the one that seems to get in the most trouble. "

Waya smriked coftly and chuckled. "Well Rahu, I'd never thought you would get close to a weak mare... must mean you must have found a strong hearted one. Or at lest one strong enough to put up with you for a time. " He chuckled again good naturedly. "Right Boy?" He asked Raum. "You're Ma's gotta have a heart of gold and a back bone made of stone. "

Kajika was growing weary of the talk between the grown ups and sighed softly. He flopped down on the ground dramatically to show his bordom. "Daaaaaaaa'" He nicked up at his father. "Can I go play?" He pleeded.

"Even though its only for now, I must say I never thought you would find a mare that could possably live up to your high standards. I suppose it goes to show there is someone out there for everyone. " He chuckled softly and nudged at his son. "Go on, Be back home before dark, or face your mothers wrath."

Kajika gluped softly and nodded his head, he had yet to see his mother truely angry, but what he had seen of her when she was stern was enough for him. He scambled to his feet and trotted over near Raum. He ducked his head and playfully aimed to hit the colt in the side, laughing all the while. "What do you want to do?"
