See, I'm not exactly on an artist block, but I guess it could be considered to be a form of it...
so you know when you see art you really like, and can stare at for hours? it usually gives you inspiration to create something just as awesome for yourself. Well, i'm totally opposite of that right now. it's like....i'm too depressed to draw/paint anything. everything i see gives me less and less motivation than ever, i dont' even know what to do with my pencil anymore when i pick up. it's just so.....depressing. it's not that i can't draw anything. if i was told to draw a hand, i can still pull it off without killing myself, but i would keep wondering why i'm drawing the hand while i'm doing it. it's so strange. and i don't have time to wait it off. final project is due in a few weeks. i have 3 more big projects to get done before it. i'm so dead.....
help.....that's all i can say.....

*gives a hug* Yes, I have often come across that feeling. Heck, I'm in something of a slum right now. I need to draw an eagle and finish up this silly commission I have, but doggnit, I just get this odd feeling when it comes to drawing birds...

I've never really been in that situation. I often have a period of about a couple of weeks in every project that I do where I get stressed out because I have no ideas or I don't like the ideas I've got or I can't find an artist to link my work to, but I usually solve. I always have that stress out though.
I hope you can find a way of solving the problem!

i think i know what you mean, but i can't say that i've ever experienced anything to that magnitude. i've had something more akin to "mini blocks" but they come with a general feeling of lethargy and i don't want to do anything, so it's not just art. it's life neutral
one thing that might help is to try and change up your schedule some. maybe not necessarily your schedule, but some of your routines. what do you do when you draw? maybe try something a little different, a different place, different music, etc. i don't know that it will help, but it definitely could.
or maybe you could take a day off and try to chill out for most of the day. it may seem impossible, but it could be very important; it could clear this block you've got.
or, if you're wondering the point of it all...make one up. a weird one, something amusing that might spur you into drawing. i was going to give an example, but i can't think of one sweatdrop
long story short...good luck, and maybe some of this stuff will help? i dunno. depending on how bad it is, it's worth a shot.

so i haven't touched any of my school projects for 2 weeks. i'm thinking i should start kicking out some stuff before the due date comes..... sweatdrop
you know what another BIG distraction for me is? philosophy. i'm not working out too well with this philosophying with my art work right now because everytime a question comes up, i some how always end up with the question of "why the hell am i doing what i'm doing?" in my head, no matter how much i think or don't think. then i get depressed. but don't worry, i dont' need to be put on suicide watch. i'm still sane enough to keep myself alive. haha.

LollipopGestapo I've had senioritis. I've started a whole bunch of art but I've been waaaay too lazy to finish any of it. *sigh* Just like my homework. i think senioritis is catching me too. i mean, i've wanted out of high school since it began, but recently i've been seriously slacking off. i mean, i'm not the most studious person to begin with, but usually i at least work in class. now i'm just like "meh. i think i'll doodle, or stare off into space, or...not work" weird. maybe it's because there are only 27 school days left eek
