Mumbling to himself, Ariston shook off a chilling breeze and tried to stay focused on the surrounding area. Sadly, no females were present, and he was quite annoyed. The quietness of the land seemed to bother him, and with the new families around, everyone seemed to be busy somehow.

He though, was not like that.

Sighing and feeling his full stomach beneath him, he felt ill at the horrid thought of the hunt he had earlier. It was a gruesome one, and it ended quite messily. He had spent most of the morning cleaning himself up so no evidence was around for such horrible tactics.

When he had finally approached what looked like an opening, he trailed forward at the site of more -nothingness-. It was quite boring, it seemed.

Wings nestled at his sides, the angelic-like Soquili lay on the ground at the edge of a clearing, his violet eyes blinking slowly, as if nothing were happening at all around him and yet it was. He could hear a soquili coming towards him, one that smelled of sulfer and blood, of death and pain.

Strange, he hadn't smelled that since...

Golden hooves suddenly touched the ground and the large Angeni stretched out his wings, his pearls clacking together lightly and glowing in the faint light of the moon that was rising in the night skye. It was only thanks to that moon that he could see the other coming towards him, gold shimmering in the light and seeming to float in the air by itself until the body of the other came into view in the light as well.

Kalona.

Suizei wasn't entirely sure of how much he wanted to be near a Kalona, but then he wasn't really one to judge others meerly by what they were. It wasn't in his nature, so he froze mid step, the swirls on his body seeming to move even from the slight movement. Unfortunately the movement also made his jewelry shine in the moonlight and betrayed where he was.

Something.. sparkly..

Ariston straightened up his posture and walked towards the sparkling figure. The scent told him it was a male standing near him, but he was hoping his nose was decieving him.

The sight that was new to him, with swirls and wings that did not caculate in his head. He narrowed his vision and noticed it was indeed a male, but a handsome one at that. He seemed to have jewelry on his body, just as Ariston did. He looked worthy enough for a beautiful conversation.

"Good evening" Ariston said, smoothly. "May I ask, what are you?" Never smart about his introductions, the large stallion walked around the Angelini with facination in his eyes. "How interesting, a wonderful sight indeed!" Facing him again, he looked at him while brushing his large mane out of his face. "I am Ariston, what is your name?"

Lifting his head up slightly, Suizei peered at the other male in a gentle amuzement that came with meeting any Kalona. It wasnt' that he was afraid or that he hated them, just that they were different than any he'd met and this one was drastically different than any that existed. He glowed in the moonlight, he seemed to be a ghost but when the eye met his body you could tell he glowed with a power that belonged to no ghost, but to something so living it was that powerful.

"It's a pleasure, Ariston." Suizei said, bowing his head and making the swirls of violet and gold dance across his body as he did so, writhing to and fro across him to make him appear as if he had simply stepped from the shadows and become. "My name is Suzei and I suppose one would call me an Angeni. Not that I would call myself that, I simply am."

A ghost was nothing more than a ghost after all and even an angeni that had once been something else entirely was nothing more, it couldn't be helped. However... just gazing at this other he couldn't help but smile from how interesting he was. If he'd been a mare he'd have called him beautiful, but instead he simply said that he was interesting inside of his head. That wouldn't be something to come from his mouth.

"An..gelini?" He lifted a brow. "Well, that is something new for me I guess, no matter." He flicked his tail and turned his body so he was facing him more pollitely. "It is a pleasure, Suizei" He said, kind of starkly. When he had to think a lot, he usually got angry on whatever was in front of him. Suizei meant no harm, obviously, but because Ariston didn't understand the situation, he just stared at him for a moment, until straying on to other important things.

"So, what is a fellow like you wandering around for in the middle of the night?" He let a silly smile on his face, only because he was doing the same thing of course. "I just enjoy the way the moonlight brings out my figure. I enjoy the way it brings out the swirls on you, thus why I came over here." He stared at Suizei's beauty, and it was so different then Ariston's, that it was just fascinating. "I still may not understand what an Angelini is, but I enjoy so far what you are. Are they usually a breed of beauty?" In his head he laughed, only because Unicorns always claimed they were a breed of beauty. Many he had run into though, proved to be NOT so much.

He may have been a tough judge to everyone, but he was allowed to, since perfection dwelled by him constantly.

"Angeni" Suizei corrected without thinking about it to hard. "As for what I was doing... I was just walking about enjoying how brightly the moonlight seems to shine in the darkness like this." Shrugging his wings gently, the angeni looked up at it and smiled, his swirls dancing once more as he did so.

At the other's question he lifted one of his darker eyebrows and nodded his head as if confused and not really getting it. Though of course he did understand, the other was a creature of beauty and as such liked other creatures of beauty. He saw no problem with this naturally, just found it amusingly fitting with the other's personality.

"I wouldn't say that all were beautiful, but then I haven't met every Angeni out there. I hardly think any such thing is more beautiful than the other, though I do concede that there are some that seem to shine brighter than others in the darkness and others that simply slide in and dissapear." the stallion responded, his eyes blinking faintly as he thought over his response before letting it come from his muzzle.

Heh, Ariston enjoyed how the stallion spoke, so wise in a way. Rather then just admiring himself as Ariston did, his ways of life seemed a bit different. It was a bit shocking for Ariston, usually pretty ones were very into themselves. "Well that's true for anybody, of course. But, I am content with how you phrased that." He smiled to him kindly, and gave a pollite nod. He liked the way Suizei spoke, and that he wasn't an idiot.

He eyed him curiously, he didn't seem to be a stallion of many words, so he was a bit taken aback by what to say. Ariston wasn't very good at not talking about himself, so he pondered for a moment the best thing to ask him.

"So, it seems there are other things on your mind besides beauty. I am intrigued by this, so I hope you don't mind me asking what your story is." His smile curved into a sly one, and it looked like Suizei had some kind of past. Ariston was always curious, and it seemed like a pollite question to ask the mysterious stallion.

His amuzement seemed to be growing though Suizei tended to withold his own senses from the outter world, keeping even the Kalona of Pride from seeing. This other Soquili was very vain but for some reason he'd asked such a personal question, what had driven him to ask that?

Strangness wasn't exactly foreign to him, as of what he'd come from had been rather strange. It wasn't a shocker anymore to meet someone from the same cloth.

"My story isn't a kind one, though it does amuse me that you'd ask it. Where to start it however, that would be the question." The angeni's eyes glazed for a moment in memory, trying to figure out what would be the easiest way to begin explaining what his story was. There was so much to be explained and Suizei didn't entirely like to talk about his past too greatly, as it was quite the explanation and a leap of faith to even begin to believe.

"Should I have not have asked?" He flashed him his bright purple eyes, and gave out a light smirk. "I am just interested, that's all. Beautiful things tend to interest me. And this race you speak of, it is most fascinating. But, if a life story does not have to do with any of those things, and is actually quite personal, then I don't mind and only apologize for being so blunt." He let out a goofy grin, and flicked his tail in conclusion.

This stallion was so quiet, not saying many words when he spoke. Ariston was confused on what to say now, so he just watched him for a second while backing up. "I feel as if I intruded some in-deep thought process of yours."

"No it's okay. It's not easy to explain something so strange is the only problem. I suppose to start I should say that I wasn't always Soquili in body or soul, I was once as human as any." Suizei started, watching the other from the side of one of his purple eyes carefully, not wanting him to be scared away by this. "There are times in one's life where the things that they can do transcend what is seen as good or what is seen as evil. I don't suppose that I did anything of the kind, but something somewhere thought I had all the same and changed my body accordingly. It shattered my life, taking me away from all that I'd known once before and removing other things. As this isn't the only form I am capable of taking I must say that I can always attempt to do some of the things of my former life but.. there are limits."

One of the longest times he'd ever really spoken, Suizei attempted to look away, not shy or embarrassed, just not sure of himself. He wasn't always that sure, he was often quite humble instead. He'd actually thought that had been the reason for the longest time. The other spirit that had told him he wasn't human hadn't really elaborated on why he'd been raised human and grown slightly over the years. Yet he was a spirit and not a human...
