What do you imagine Gaara's ideal soulmate to be like? Do you think he prefers girls or guys? What's his favorite hair-color? Should his soulmate be funny or serious? Should they be ninjas, too? TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK! Oh, and prizes will be awarded at the end of the week...let's say the deadline is...April 20. Have fun with it!

Gaara's soulmate is Rock Lee. That's my story. I'm sticking to it. *hides undereath a desk*
Okay, I'll be serious.
I actually think Gaara might be bi. Just a thought. I can see him going for someone who's the total opposite of who he is. Someone who'd 'complete' him. X3

I agree with you, Katie. It would make sense for Gaara to love someone who is his extreme opposite. Kudos to you for being the first person to comment on this forum!

Gaara's ideal soulmate is Naruto. razz Rock Lee is just too different from Gaara, and Naruto would be able to understand him better than anyone else could.

But I must argue that Lee would also be good for Naruto because he could really teach Gaara to be more open with his emotions.

Personally if he were to go out with Rock lee i would go and puke in a corner same with him and Naruto and i really don't want to see sand incest Can anybody come up with an idea of Gaara being with a girl not just boys also think that maybe ANKO!! j/k.... whoever... just please no more yaoi ~Hatori_Sueshijuu~ i think tis a great thing u ppl r tryin to find Gaaras happy place.. a girl/guy and something that makes him feel warm and fuzzy on the inside... well... u know what i mean.... but still KUDOS TO U PPLZ!!!!! and also... i think Gaara will be angst w/ all the fangirls out to get him.. hes already died once give the man a break! Yes, I would have to agree there, though I think it's just at this point in time. He is only 15, and though, technically, this is the age where his hormones should be running out of control, Gaara is just. . . A late bloomer, you could say. Afterall, we are talking about a socially handicapped young man, who just got out of his psychological shell. I wouldn't expect him to understand concepts like romance and sex yet, so I would assume such things are the last on his mind. Maybe, when he's older and wiser, that might change, but, for now, asexual is a good way to describe Gaara.

I think .... Sakura. Now, let me explain why. Number one reason both have delt with heartbreak. Gaara with Yashamaru and Sakura with Sasuke. Gaara needs love and Sakura has a lot of love to give. As to further support my idea of Gaara being with Naruto...
Naruto taught Gaara to know what it is to have someone you want to protect, which I thought had an enourmous impact on his life.

I think Gaara should be with Neji. Both of them have to live with being disappointments or third-wheels to their families and they both know what it's like to lose someone important to them. There are also many things different about them too. Neji is mostly calm and collected, while Gaara is cold and antisocial. So over all, they make a adorable couple! They're not the same, but they're not different either.

I support GaaNeji but [spoiler(highlight to see)] that Gaara will become the kazekage making him the most important family member and that Gaara will become more social. (It's in the Japanese version >_< The Japanese version is so ahead of the American @_@; )But it's still a hot couple <3

Why?
Gaara and Naruto were only seen with eyes of fear and hate. They received no love from anyone, only the hatred that surrounds them. They both carry monsters within them, a living nightmare they wished was never there. They were left to rot in solitude, but along the way they met each other. Naruto showed Gaara the values of friendship. No longer being alone, no more hatred. Gaara became a stronger person with more affection towards others, not with murderous intent. Naruto has opened a new path for Gaara.
