It was a cool evening, and he found it very refreshing to take a stroll under the rising moon. A warm, spring breeze gently lifted his cape up into the air, and it landed softly on his back as he continued his walk across the empty field. He knew he was different, and hated to be the center of attention. Preferring much quieter environments for deep thinking, he would find himself only going out on evenings when the land around him was uninhabited with creatures.
Of course, the occasional mare or stallion would notice him, but he was quick to dart away when he didn't want to return the conversation. Like a phantom, he would trail across the land, no cave or field to call his own home, wandering aimlessly with no purpose. What was he supposed to do with his life? What higher power created him as he was? For what reason?
Night after night, he questioned himself over and over again, but failed to receive any answer. Perhaps this night would be different? Or would it be doomed to repeat itself, like so many evenings before?
"Only time will tell," he thought grimly to himself as he continued to walk through the field.

In the midst of what seemed eternity the princess of the moon looks around a soft sigh coming from her. It had been so long since she had seen her hero of her past who had defended her and saved her. All she wanted was to see him again. if not for awhile maybe one night or so.
She looks up at the clear night sky, as the faint image of her hero showed, her tail swishes to and fro. eternity without seeing her hero just seemed so lonely and pointless but she was confident that tonight hopefully she would get to see him for a bit. Though now it just depended on the time maybe if it was right time she would be able to see him. As she strolled through the field she drifted off into deep thought.

Continuing his mental conversation with himself, he almost missed seeing the gleam of white that glowed underneath the moonlight. A figure, dressed in white and gold beckoned his masked eyes to look closer. Could that be another Soquili? Why was she dressed the way she was?
He paused in his walking, and contemplated making a bolt for it. He was in no mood for conversation tonight, but the shine and glow from the figure intrigued him to remain where he was.

After a bit of thinking she saw a flash of red and black in the corner of her eye, which drew her out of her deep thinking state she blinked and her eyes were soon drawn to take a closer look. He seemed familiar but seemed so different in one way or another.
She stopped her leisure stroll in the moonlight, something about the other seemed so familiar. She couldn't recall if she knew him or not, debating the thought in her head she decided to head in that direction and see if she was either hallucinating or it seemed real. Taking a breath she slowly made her way towards him casually or at least as casual as she could.

What to do.. what to do...
The figure had obviously spotted him, and was approaching in his direction. Should he flee, or face the creature? It looked like a mare.. but instead of the hair of a mare had two long buns on the top of her head, with golden hair spilling down on either side of her face. They were long enough to nearly step on, and he let out a low chuckle at the mental image of her tripping over her hair. Such a funny image.
Taking a deep breath, he stood his ground and awaited for the figure to reach where he stood. He didn't fear this mare, not in the least, but for the most part preferred to be alone when he was deep in thought. Bravery was no issue for him; he could be heroic and noble when he wanted to, but the urge only came in certain situations. Other than that, he was better off being alone... just as he always had before.

The mare made her way over to where the stallion was and stopped at a safe distance just to be cautious. You could never really trust others that you didn't know that well or at least in her opinion anyway. Remaining silent and not sure what to say she blinked.
Being as careful as she can not to trip on her long hair, she stood in front of the other "hello" she said in a pleasant and polite voice. It was only natural to say hello and not remain quiet. Her tail swishing to and fro slowly and her ears alert just in case something were to happen that was unexpected.

Her soft voice was pleasant to the ears, and he nodded his head in greeting to the mare, who had hesitated and paused in her approach. She was obviously cautious of him... and he wouldn't blame her. What horse in their right mind would walk freely up to a stallion that looked the way he did?
"Good evening," he replied with his low voice, his dark blue eyes examining the dress the mare wore. It was elegant in style and in fabric, and he wondered why she wore it. Elegance itself seemed to cry out from her appearance, with her jeweled tiara and the dainty bracelet around one hoof. Perhaps she was of the snooty sort, with herself being as fancy as she looked?

Her eyes examing the stallion as well, though mind you he seemed different from the others, but she couldn't put her hoof on what made him so different. "Beautiful evening for a walk, yes?" she said, letting the stallions eyes examine her.
Though then again, she doubted that any other horse would be walking around in a elegant white dress with a tiara and bracelet, that gave probably others who looked at her as a snooty type. Mentally she kept notes of his appearance and his interesting taste in clothing a tux, with a cape and the mask that covered most of his eyes. Something about his eyes seemed familiar to her, but she couldn't exactly pin point the reason to why.

"It is a very lovely night," he agreed, glancing up towards the moon, noticing that the stars had come out to play and dance across the evening sky. His gaze fell back down towards the mare, and her light blue eyes caught his.
She was very beautiful, that was for sure, but from her quiet nature, he didn't know how she truly acted, so remained as he was.
"I admit, out of all the horses I've seen in this land, you by far are the most interesting in appearance." he confessed, watching her expression to see how she'd react. If she was egotistical, he didn't want to feed into her ego by calling her beautiful, but if she was humble, hopefully she would take it more as a compliment than an insult that he called her simply 'interesting'.

"I always like lovely nights like this..where the sky is clear and the stars are welcoming to watch" she stated. yes she was one who like clear night skies where you could see the stars clearly and would be a nice sight for sore eyes.
"well..thank you..for the compliment" she answered "I would have to agree with you..in my opinion you too are one with a interesting appearance" she told him in a soft tone-like voice. Though mind you..the stallion to her seemed rather mysterious in his own way and charming as well.

Hearing her own compliment made him perk up, and he straightened himself up and stood up proudly, his head held high. It wasn't often that someone took a good interest in his appearance, and he was going to be proud of that moment for as long as he could.
"The stars are always welcoming, one just has to pay attention to see it." He nodded, taking a step closer towards her. "The night is always the most enjoyable time for me... it's a time for relaxing, and a time for thinking."

"yes they are.." she agreeded "and yes night's are always pleasant for those kind of things" she said not minding that he took a step closer to her. "Also the best times just to enjoy the nice clear night sky and small breezes if there are any" she finished.
In her opinion it wasn't every day that you would run into a stallion or mares for that matter that found different appearances rather unique in their own little way. Not that she minded the fact, though it was nice to know she had run into a stallion that found her appearance unique.

"So..." he started, his interest getting the better of him, "What brings you to this part of the land? I would be able to recall seeing such an elegant beauty as yourself, so I assume you're new around here."
He surprised himself with the amount of talking she had caused him to make. Typically, he would respond to questions with short, one to few word responses, and be done with the conversation and trot off. This mare, however, kept him guessing... and while he guessed and puzzled over her, it gave him less opportunity to mull over the questions that had been pestering him for so many nights previously.

"Oh you know..just to explore around..and see what's out in the world..how about you?" she asked him. Even so with the conversation slowly progresses she still had questions in her mind that needed answers before she nodded "you could say I'm new..somewhat" she told him
She blinked surprised at the fact that she had particularly caused this stallion to talk, at first sight he seemed a rather quiet and reserved. But now he seemed to be less reserved not that she mind, his voice had a charming tone.

"Your statement puzzles me, Miss," he willingly confessed, trying to figure out her meaning, "How can you be only somewhat new? You've been to these lands before?"
Another soft breeze tugged at his cape, sending it falling down to one side, but he ignored it's presence. One black lock of hair tumbled down in between his eyes and on top of his mask, but nothing seemed to faze him at this point. Instead, he focused on the mare in front of him that was baffling him and intriguing him at the same time.
