The Kanto region is the part of the world that has seen the most active conflict through the past two wars. Though the actions in the Dark Pokemon Wars were a global affair and ravaged the entire planet, the subsequent League Wars were centered almost solely in the Kanto region, with a few minor skirmishes overflowing into the Johto region.

During the course of the Dark Pokemon Wars, nearly all of the major cities of Kanto were ravaged by the Forbidden, reduced to rubble by the embattled Rocket and League forces, or otherwise razed to the ground.
