What do you think wold happen to a Miko if she were to lose her virginity she had a chance to summon?
I think there are a few possibilitys
1. She be able to cleanse her body though a compex ritual with to purify her body or something
2. she be unable to sumon and stuck in the book were she wold slowly fade away like tamahome started to in out world or she be sent back to our word now b/c useless in the book world
4. its impossible for her to sence the god wold procet her in one way ot another from it even tho she might be willing to

If a priestress lost her virginity, she would have the child and most likely your #2 possibility will happen.

Either that or the priestess will be trapped in the book forever. And...I guess she would fade away...but I don't think so...I believe that that only applies to when characters appear in the real world.

That would be pretty tragic. If a priestess cannot summon her god, then she could only rely on having a link with the reader (ie Miaka's ribbon or school uniform) to get back or else possibility #2 would happen.

didn't miaka lose her virginity in book 12...? When chichiri (or whoever it was) found them in bed they had their clothes on but i thought that they did it earlier on.

i think that then she would have a child, and that child would have to summon Suzaku, but then that would start a whole new story! lol

the point is that the innocence is virginity. And no ritual can get that back.

If she loses her virginity she won't be able to summon whoever and won't get any wishes. Who says she has to be stuck?
She could have a different way of getting home and just wants a brand new car or something.
and even if she was stuck, I don't think she would vanish.
