Sighing happily, Sheryl downed the rest of her champagne glass before pulling the plug on the drain. It was time for bed; if what Diyaka had said was true, tonight was the night the little ones came home.
"Time for bed," she spoke softly to the necklace while drying off. She took the moment to carefully dry the relic as well, humming a lullaby to her children-to-be.
By the time she was ready for bed, the drink and the lullaby had made her own head heavy. Curling up under her blankets, she glanced over at the large crib at the foot of her bed, waiting. With a tired smile, Sheryl kissed the relic around her neck.
"I can't wait to meet you, my dears," she whispered...and then promptly fell asleep.

As she slept her soul floated above her body. The ghostly relic around her neck was warm, glowing somewhat, but she was expecting an odd dream. Across the room from her was a large door that the relic seemed to beckon her towards.

Somewhere in the back of her mind, Sheryl still expected there to be aliens floating around in little silver space saucers. The babies would burst out of her stomach, it all having been a lie. She was going to die and die horribly, because she was a foolish human who had trusted evil outer space spawn.
"No," Sheryl finally stated, feeling her voice echo but not actually hearing it. "They are beautiful, god-like children." Her voice firm, as she took a deep breath, empowering herself, as she started forward and reached the door. "They are my beautiful children," she repeated...and opened the door without another moment of hesitation, striding through with confidence.

When Sheryl had passed through the door she came to a room with a long table and high ceilings. This room had appeared in a previous baby finding but that's another matter.
At the far end of the table the three beings from the book were laying. The winged goddess of whim was slumped forward over a plate-which had probably contained her dinner. The furry goddess of muse was hanging out of her chair-upper body on the floor and legs on her seat. The god of inspiration-in his formal garb-was sitting up with his head hanging over the back of the chair. Someone had poisened these three at dinner-and as players know, everyone else at the table.
The relic on Sheryl's neck beckoned her to touch the 3. Convieniently enough there was a spot where Muse's tail, Inspiration's hand, and Whim's head met on the table because of how they'd fallen.

Sheryl's eyes widened at the sight, feeling her heart ache. Her babies...her three beautiful babies, dead. The tears swelling in her eyes, she made her was towards the bodies of the gods.
"I'm so sorry," she whispered, reaching out to gingerly touch the place the three met.

As she touched them the bodies glowed with white light. The relic around her neck also started to glow but it shot out in 3 different directions like it wasn't solid. A blue beam of light shot out from what had been the relic into Whim, a red one into Inspiration and a yellow into Muse, leaving the woman's neck bare. When the light shot into them the glowing bodies started to shrink. And within moments before Sherl, on the table where the bodies had met, were three adorable children.

Sheryl nearly fell back as the lights separated from her relic, blinking at the three little bundles that now waited for her on the table. Caprice was already all a-wiggle; Sheryl knew it was her by the beautiful wings and the mischievous glimmer in her eyes. Her brother and sister behaved in a much more subdued manner, Hauke seeming rather unimpressed with the surroundings while furry little Arwen tried to chew on her tail.
"No...you're definitely not aliens," Sheryl muttered with a laugh, carefully moving to scoop up Hauke and Arwen in one arm while the other was completely dedicated to keeping Caprice still. "Let's figure out how to get home, ok?"

When the woman had claimed the children the door reappeared, wide open, allowing the 4 to go back to their bodies. And with that the woman had recieved her children.
