Alaqua had escaped the chaos that was the Ledell home to catch a bus to the mall. Really, she hadn't cared where she ended up; she just had to get out of her house. In such a short period of time, the koala girl had gone from being the only child to having two little twin brothers and a younger sister who now appeared older than her. Life was confusing for this almost-teenage girl.
She'd managed to squeeze Bob onto the bus, though the driver hadn't been too happy about it. The pair were wandering about the mall aimlessly with no real goal in mind other than to avoid having to go home until her mother called at least twelve times.
The two paused outside of a bookstore, where Bob was distracted by the large display of a new release that featured a dragon on its cover.

"Kier you know i can't afford that." Chath moaned as the black nosed the window looking at a very expensive looking necklace sitting on display. "i can't afford anything ni that store." he continued with an exasperated sigh and then went to sit on a bench that looked like it had seen better days.
"And stop drooling acid on the benches...you may think it is funny to have someone sit on it only to collasp but someone could seriously get hurt." He continued to lecture feeling a headache starting to develop.
BLah blah blah, Kier swiveled to look at the boy and decided it was best he give the guy a break. He was being a pain...but then again when wasn't he? The black dragon moved to lay beside the bench. Yawning as he did so and letting a bit of acidic drool drip onto the cement. This earned him a glare from the boy and he only inwardly smirked.

Ala sighed as she wandered on down the walkway, barely glancing at the stores. Bob, however, hadn't been to the mall before and was excited to see the various items that the stores had out on display. The brass wyrmling came to a halt in front of a store, glancing at a necklace that seemed to attract the attention of any dragon that passed by.
Alaqua sighed and glanced about for a place to sit. She was getting tired of walking around. The girl spotted a bench nearby. A bench that contained someone that looked rather familiar. Wandering over to the bench, Ala figured she might as well introduce herself, seeing how they'd been in several classes together.
"Hi, I'm Ala. You're in some of my classes at D-corp, aren't you?"

Chath looked up abruptly, he had been daydreaming, but he offered a smile and nodded his head at the girls question. "Hi! I'm Chath, funny I think you have been in lots of my classes, but we really never got a chance to talk." he said with a laugh and offered the spot beside him since the girl looked a bit worn out.
"Tired?" he inquired as he then noticed her dragon was staring at the very same necklace Kier had seen. "jeeze...dragons and anything sparkly..." he murmured with a laugh and a shake of his head.

Ala nodded. "Yeah, then again, some of the teachers are too scary to try talking in class except for answering their questions." And by some of the teachers... she meant Raven. Well, and Lilly, but she was never ever EVER going to have a class with that woman again.
"Thanks," she said as she took a seat next to him. "Yeah, they obsess over that kind of stuff, don't they?" Hopefully seeing this necklace wouldn't make Bob give up his sticks and blanket...

Chath nodded his head, yah some of the teachers were rather imposing. "Next time i Have a class with you we should pair up. That is if you don't mind being teamed up with a guy." he siad with a laugh. Sometimes girls preferred being with other girls. Not that his bit or anything, he was pretty easy going as it was.
"Has Bob learned to speak english?" He asked, wondering if all dragons could do it, or it only certian species of dragons had the ability. "Or fly? Keir is a terrible flyer." He said with a laugh that earned him a glare from the black.
Keir stood, stretched and walked over to Bob, and sat down beside the brass and joined him in the game of stare at the pretty sparkley things.

Heh, like the tomboy really cared about something like that. "Sure, that sounds great!" She really needed to get to know some of the older students a bit better...
"Hmm? Oh, yeah... He speaks English, though my mom wasn't too happy about that because now he hardly shuts up." In fact, she was surprised that the brass wasn't speaking a thousands words a second about the pretty necklace. Maybe he was just too awestruck?
Bob glanced over at Keir as the black dragon joined him. "Hello. Me seen you before." The dragon noticed that his silly girl wasn't standing right beside him anymore and glanced about for her. Oh, she was talking to some boy. "That yours?" Bob asked, flicking his tail to indicate the newt boy. "Me seen him, too."

Chath gave Ala a grin before letting out a held back sigh. The day had been long, and Keir still wanted a treat.
"Funny, Keir hasn't spoken a word. Only draconic. Either he doesn't want to learn or he has nothing to say to me." He replied with a bit of a sad smile, "though he has only recently started to really work on flying so maybe his speech will come later?" he left the last bit as a question not really directed to anyone.
"so how are your studies going?" he asked trying to switch subjects.
Keir looked to the brass with a questioning look. This one spoke human? Keir preferred to speak draconic, and thus replied in such.
I doth see you brass, many times before. this be our first true meeting and exchange of words. Though why do you speak common? do you not take pride in your draconic heritage? the blacks tail lashed back and forth while he spoke, his words weren't very friendly more of a matter of fact.
Yes the red skinned one belongs to me . . . He continued with a lazy look over to the pair sitting on the bench.

"Odd," Ala commented, "but Bob didn't speak for a while, even though Mr. Coleman said he was supposed to learn faster because he's a brass. But I think he just wanted to perfect it first..." She glanced over at the two dragons. "Yeah, Bob's been working on flying some, too. But he's not very good at it... I guess he'll get better, though."
Ala gave a groan. "Ugh. It's school." She made a face. Truthfully, the girl hated both the fighting classes and the magic ones, though if she had to pick one, she'd choose magic. But mainly because Lilly doesn't teach magic. "What about you?"
The brass dragon gave the black one an odd look, switching to draconic. You are not proud to learn another language; one that you can communicate your desires in? I am still a dragon, even if I speak a language that is not our native one... Bob was a bit confused. He hadn't been able to wait until he'd managed to master the language his humans spoke. Did all dragons not feel this way?

Chath leaned back and thought on what she said. Maybe he should find out weither Keir was suppose to learn at a certian speed.
"usually practice makes perfect." he continued with a smile that had a hint of laughter tugging at the corners. He looked over to her as she groaned, didn't like school huh? He found the more paper writing classes to be boring. he couldn't focus on those classes, at least not well.
"Well I passed my magic final, got a A+" He beamed as he spoke, he was most impressed with that grade since he thought himself terrible at magic. It was a good thing to learn but he still found him drawn to melee.
"Learned some defensive moves...still working with Keir though mostly." he explained with a slight wave to the balck dragon.
Keir had never really had that particular subject turned around on him before. Why...didn't he want to learn? He never really thought about it. He always assumed draconic was the superior langauge, and that all inferior languages were a waste of time.
I had never thought of it that way before... he murmured a but humbeled.

Ala glanced over at Chath. "An A+? Wow..." Heh, she was struggling to keep a B in her magic classes and she probably didn't even want to know what she got in her melee classes.
"Ah, I can't wait to start taking some of the more interesting classes." Well, okay, that wasn't biology or history. She had liked her one dragon class and wanted to take more. Learning about Bob was much better than learning about other stuff.
Bob seemed partially satisfied in that he'd gotten the other dragon to think, but confused as well. Did this dragon not know why he thought that way? Odd.

Chath wondered what kind of classes she was thinking about. he was only aware of well...melee and magic. There were other classes? Oh right, skills class. He liked that one too, though last time Keir was pertty scary though it forced him to use his toxicity.
"what kind of classes?" He inquired stumped about any others they may be taking in the future.
Keir sighed and then refocused back on the pretty necklace in the window. I have many pretties at home, my red skinned one got them for me, but none as pretty as that one.. Keir commented with a almost annoyed tone.

"Well, like the flying class... and there's some other dragon classes..." Ala nodded. "And we gotta take stuff like history and biology, which might not be too bad..." She gave a sigh. She hadn't heard anything about the history and biology teachers from anyone, but she'd heard about having to take them. And there were people who had offices and were listed as those teachers.
Bob looked back at the necklace. I don't have anything that's really sparkly like that... I wonder if my silly girl will get something like this for me.

Chath had wondered if there were flying classes, he certianly knew Keir needed help with his flight, that was no mistake. He still thought history and biology sounded rather boring, but he kept that to himself.
"Don't you like melee or magic class?" he asked as if oblivious to the fact other smay not enjoy it as much as he does.
Keir looked back to the pair who were idly chit chatting on the bench, He blinked once and then twice before responding.
With partners like ours I doubt it... He replied with annoyance.

Ala frowned. "Not really. Melee hurts... and magic makes me feel stupid..." She blushed a bit at that, but it was true. She felt that her answers were always wrong in that class. But it was better than being beat up by your teacher, right?
Bob gave a sigh. Yeah... Silly creatures.
