I'm thinking about calling the cops on a humane society here. It's AWFUL! My friend got a dog from there, he smelled AWFUL, and the fur was so matted they had to shave it. The animals are just in cages stacked up everywhere all lopsided, and you have to climb over more cages and animal..waste just to get to the back office.

xp That's alright I just didn't want you to get discouraged.
I don't know much about the situation and I have never had any problems like that with our shelters here. I don’t know who would be best to report it to. But if the conditions are poor for the animals and they are being treated inhumanely than it’s probably a good idea to alert someone.

That would be a yes. An extreme yes.
Speak to an older person about whether this should be taken to the police or someone else, then notifiy them.
It could just be a case that the place has become overrun and needs some help and someone else to take in some of the animals.

I think that alerting someone is definatly in order! All the shelters in my area seem great. Thats where we got our cat and are planning to get our next kitten. We always get them fixed so as not to have to contribute to the overpopulation causing so many deaths. Our cat was healthy as can be when we got her. Maybe you should help raise money for the shelter so they can have a better place for the poor animals. My guess is that they have no room and need extra money. Its still cruel though.

i don't know maybe they are having some problems and can't afford help how long has it been there and if there have been and disatsters like a fire or tornado there lately if not then yea you should call the police.
