does anyone know how long it is based after the end of kh2?
otherwise i think it's new characters coz of the leader guys long-ish hair...
the chaser with the blue hair looks like a girl, is he/she it?

I've seen a cutscene from KHII that
had xigbar and zexion... they were talking about
what xemnas might be doing the "room of sleep"
and then... xigbar was talking about a 'great war
when the keyblades clashed' or something... and how
it started 10 years ago... sooo... I'm thinking
sora, riku, and kairi were children *like 5-6 years old*
when the keyblade war happened? O:

when the keyblade war happened? O: Yeah, I loved that scene. But although it speaks of the keyblade war, I think the scene definitely takes place in the future. At the end you see King Mickey all ready, telling us that the crisis from the previous 2 games has already happened. Also, I have a strong feeling that the lead chaser could quite possibly be Roxas. I'll find the info, but I read somewhere that one of the Chasers is Olette's child!

roxas DID NOT exist until sora stabbed himself with a keyblade
and released his heart and became a heartless...
at THAT moment that's when roxas was born.

Oh yeah, smarty pants? biggrin Riddle me this: Why does the bad guy look SOOO much like an old version of Xehanort's heartless? An why is he able to create something so similar to a dark Riku, (just as he made Riku that way)? Not to mention this HUGE factor: the dark Riku-looking guy has the manufactured, if you will, heartless emblem on his chest. That was developed after Xehanort used the machine and developed his heartless. ALSO, if you notice, Fenrir is one of the keyblades in the crossroads, which hadn't come to be until Cloud came along

it's sorta like CoM again but only you'll visit xehanort's memories

I just noticed something, It MUST be set in the future!! reason 1: the "old xehanort" as the bad guy reason 2: the 3 keyblades at the start which the three chasers pick up are these three: 1) Divine Rose (kairi's standard keyblade) 2) Kingdom Key (sora's standard keyblade) 3) Way to the Dawn (riku's standard keyblade) after seeing this you must beleive it's in the future!!! also theres 2 boy chasers and 1 girl chaser... sora, riku, and kairi... come on! it's so obvious now! all the evidence is there, we just need to look closely! and yes, there is a fenrir in the crossroads, and also some random ones:  The fenrir keyblade is the one on the far right

The easiest way to understand is read my new sticky called "A Breakthrough!" I've been thinking about it more and more, and the only thing that can make a keyblade turn into a certain one is the keychain. Sora never collected Keyblades, but the ability to interchange the kingdom key with them. The Chasers are the ones who supposedly made the keyblades, and if this is true, Sora didn't make fenrir out of thin air, but rather it had already been created and Tifa gave him something that allowed him to summon it. Even though there are several clues that point to the future, there is one major flaw in you theory: the chasers are NOT Sora, Riku, and Kairi. If you watch the Final Mix video you'd see who they are. Also, Xehanort has some sort of connection w/ the girl. Read the sticky to find out more, though.

Hmmm,
I personally think that it is set in the present/future because the 'Keyblade war' took place 10 years ago, which could point to why there are so many keyblades there in the first place.
I also heard that the place they're in is the 'keyblade graveyard'.
And isn't it possible that there are other things beside Heartless and Nobodies? I mean it wasn't like Nobodies were in the first game or anything, so wouldn't/couldn't they introduce another new enemy?
And when you think about it, all their names mean something...
Sora - Sky
Riku - Land
Kairi - Sea
Ven - Wind
Terra - Earth
Aqua - Water
Coincidence?
Ven and Aqua have an obvious frienship by the way they act (Much like Sora and Kairi) and when Terra arrives you can see his eye color matches Heartless Ansem.
So if they were something other than heartless and nobody (Keeping a physical form and such) and they were extensions of Sora, Riku, and Kairi, they could have been created during KHII, because that's when Roxas went back to Sora's body (Reason why Ven looks so much like Roxas in the first place) Kairi was somewhere with Namine with her and you can obviously see that Aqua resembles Kairi, and Riku had the form of Ansem, which could be why Terra looks much older than the other two.

That's a good theory, but there is evidence that disproves it. First off, Tetsuya Nomura already said it takes place in the past lol. Also, if you saw in the final mix video, Xemas had Aqua's armor
