I don't know if it's ongoing or over but I know the Gorillaz did a "tour" of radio stations and played some "live" shows on the air. I have a few of them on mp3 and I'm sure I'm not the only one here whose heard them. I did notice something though, some of the lyrics are different, at least in Feel Good inc.
live lyric:
"Windmill windmill for the land
turn forever hand in hand
take it all in on your stride
It is sinking in the sand"
Which is NOT what he says on the cd. confused

Naruto129 u could of just heard it wrong No the live version is very clear, I don't think there's any way you can hear it wrong.

On Livejournal there's a Gorillaz community and one of the members sometimes uploads their "live" radio performances for people to download. I have three of them on my iPod and I think I have a fourth but I'm not sure where I saved it. One of them was my reward for tracking down the "Murdoc is God" track for him. *L*

Naruto129 they could have messed up xd *L* Somehow I doubt that since even their "live" shows are pre-recorded. (Each of the live shows I have all have Feel Good inc for instance and I think they all have Clint Eastwood.) It's neat though, I know some bands will change lyrics up a bit in live shows.

taku_14 weird maybe he forgot the lyric and made something up that worked With a real band that might make sense but I'm not so sure that it does with an animated band. I guess they actually sing live at the live shows but I'm sure they don't for the radio "live" shows.

It was the same melody, and the same tempo only slower. And remixes don't funk with the words.
