I was wondering if anybody knew of sites, places, etc. that you could upload your own webcomic? Or related things? I dunno', like... tutorials or something, I guess... I've heard of them, but never seen them. Or maybe I heard wrong...? ^^;

http://www.comicgenesis.com - The most customizable out of the three. However, if you don't know HTML, this might be the most difficult to use.
http://www.smackjeeves.com - What I use! Fairly decent templates, could be fully customizable if you like. Best place to be if you're a Shounen-Ai/BL/Yaoi comic artist (they get the most favs... D: ).
http://www.drunkduck.com - Very much like SJ, but with a bigger community. Not quite as customizable, to my knowledge.

To make a comic itself, I guess you'll have to trust your own drawing abilities. It's hard to find a good tutorial on sequential art. There are a few floating around dA, but I don't recommend any of them.

You can also try TokyoPop.com (well, not sure about the site). It hosts arts, photos, fan fic I think, and it has the manga format (western) where there are two pages you click on and when you click you go to the next page (or the page before if you click on the left.) It's just a large community since it is pretty popular I guess. Your manga might not become popular though.

I never really liked Tokyopop. At one point, I found a bunch of porn in the manga section. D: It lags too much sometimes.

Well, I didn't really browse the site, I just posted art. I don't really like tokyopop that much either, I think there are way too many people and much more competition. Hah, I sound so show-offy rofl

Heh, I understand what you mean. The "competition" varies as well. On one small corner you have amazing artists who are bound to be manga-ka one day, and on the other side you have... well...

Tokyopop also seems to like to show off. "We're leading the manga revolution!!"

I personally like tokyo pop , Not for the site but for the way your profiles set up , Its really easy to see if anyone commented and you can post art and fictions aswell which I like , The three sites that thouse links brought me to looked a bit confusing to get around . As far as the matter with the "Down town" Of Tokyo pop Ive never actually noticed any of it , Or seen any of it but that might be because I don't exactly Explore the site much further then my profile So If your looking to read comics those sites linked might be a better idea , Also On tokyo pop the pages do have to be a certain size , I don't have a problem with it but im sure loads of people do .

You have to remember that those three sites are extremely focused more on the comics themselves. Tokyopop is trying to make a fun atmosphere for manga fans in a part blog, part MySpace type website. Naturally, Tokyopop lets their users post art and their own manga, but that isn't the focus of Tokyopop.

On the other hand, SmackJeeves, DrunkDuck, and ComicGenesis are all completely based on helping aspiring comic artists to make their webcomic. I'm trying to persuade others what will make other webcomic artists feel comfortable with their website choice. Of course, Tokyopop is the so-called leader of the Manga Revolution, but it's not the best choice to upload a webcomic, considering that a good majority of your fellow users do not experience the same trials and tribulations as you would, the comic artist.

the sites are safe of course~
what is NOT safe about these sites is ppl can steal your work unless you have a copywright protection on it they cannot steal it,
just because it has a copywright doesnt mean the drawings cannot be saved or copied to a computer~ it just means no one can steal your idea otherwise you can sew them~
posting your art anywhere on the internet including pictures can be stolen or copied,even if there is some sort of picture block in the site
