Hey all, haven't been on for a while since I was bearing with the end of my pregnancy and then my baby came on March 12, 2007, only 5 days before her EDD. My water broke at like 3 something in the morning and we rushed to the hospital like 5 minutes down the street (lol! we live on a Navy base...), I had my first real contraction and oh my GAWD was it horrible!!! I recieved Fentenol (spelling?) in my IV but it didn't work that great, so I got the epidural and dang is that a life saver! The monitors were not picking up my contractions during the pushing stage so they turned off the epidural and they relied on me telling them when I was having contractions since I had to push during each one. Well, after a grueling 2 1/2 hours of pushing, and with no assistance of a vaccum or forceps, Aubrey Lilianna was born at 2:36pm weighing in at 7lbs 12oz and 20in. Her APGAR scores were 8 at 1 minute because of her color and then 9 at 5 minutes because it got better. Otherwise, she is a perfect and healthy little one, could not have asked for anything better!! Here are some pictures.... I'm going snap-happy with my digital. haha! ok! I'm done! LOL... My hair in that Easter photo is all frumped up, I ran out of time to do it. haha! Well if anyone has questions about pregnancy, delivery (I only have vag. birth with epidural experience so far), or even newborn questions, feel free to PM me, I'll do the best I can to help you smile
well my husband is getting ready to leave for work and my little peanut needs food. haha! So I will post more on the forum later. thanks for lookin'! smile

Oh, and yes, the epidural is a wonderful, wonderful thing.
