Time Limit Reinforced
Now, since the start of the tournament, we have had this rule regarding time limits in order to get people the incentives to post on time if they don't want to be disqualified. Now, some people's schedule may not have allowed this, so leniency was given in order to compensate for this. However, this rule has been abused, and as of late, has been slowing this tournament down dramatically. Therefore, as a result, all matches without a time limit will be reinforced immediately. That means this:
You have three days, that's 72 hours, to make a post after your opponent's last post. If you do not make this time limit, you will be disqualified. Only being about thirty minutes late would help, but any longer than that, you're disqualified. No exceptions.
This should either revitalize the matches or separate the lucky from the unlucky. However, do not think this rule is solid. If a match still shows abuse of even the three day rule, a notice may be made in that thread that will decrease the amount of time each person has to post, thus placing more pressure on each to get to posting. I know this will make those with little computer time disappointed, but this has been going on long enough, thus, it's best if you do not participate with your personal schedule hindering you. Just don't worry. There will be future tournaments and fights.
More revisions are going to come later, but for now, I wanted to make this one rule perfectly clear because we all want this tournament to come to an end soon, so all in matches, get to it. If you have any arguments, post them in the Moderator thread, and me and a moderator, assuming they are not part of the match with the problem, will tell those involved our advice, then maybe give a decision on how to resolve issues. Be warned, if you cannot come to a conclusion with your opponent on something, then you will unfortunately be forced to receive the opinion of the moderators who give their analysis on a match.
For example, if two people are in a psychic warfare and wondering whose power will be stronger than who, then a modifier will be placed on the battle where your psychic abilities are reduced to a smaller power, thus meaning you'll probably have to rely on another method of combat. This is not likely to occur, but if the issue is that critical, then it will be enforced.
Coming Up In The Next Rounds
Revision of the fights are taking place the next round to make things a lot more interesting. Firstly, each battle will be taken place in a random chosen battle field unknown to them until the start of the match. It could be a volcano or it could be on a single pillar escalating high into the sky like Kami's Lookout from DBZ. Whatever it is, be prepared to test your limits on very different terrain. And of course, there will be ring outs, but they will be different for each type of ring.
Also, another concept that will be introduced in the next rounds is something call the "Chance Juggler." Using the random number generator if Gaia, when a match reaches a page that is a multiple of 5, a random effect will be thrown into the match depending on a sheet that the moderators will have access to. It could affect the arena, or it could affect the players in some way.
So, in conclusion, be ready for some interesting twists if you make it to the next rounds. You don't want to miss this, so fight your hardest.
