What was your reaction when you first saw Deidara? We all know that not everyone fell in love with him at first sight. Like some characters, you may need to get usedto them, and then come to love them. What was your first reaction when you saw Deidara?
At first I thought hewas a girl..
Srsly...
Then I found out he was a guy...
and I could see why xD

When I first saw Deidara, I was confused as to why and how he got mouths on his hands, and why he looked so much like a girl. I really thought he was a girl a first, and I fell in love with 'her'. Then as it came to my attention, I realized he was indeed a guy, which crushed my heart gonk ...but none the less, he frigging rocks! scream

I really thought he was a girl a first, and I fell in love with 'her'. Then as it came to my attention, I realized he was indeed a guy, which crushed my heart gonk ...but none the less, he frigging rocks! scream I thought you went after guys anyways? Just kidding! =P Yeah, the mouth-hand thing had me freaked at first, but it's PIMP AWESOME! =DDD

lol I wanted to die. Cause my friend said "that hawk watching people is Deidara" LIES!! And I'm like who? Then I read the manga and watched some flashes. I thought Deidara was a pretty cute guy at first. And I saw his mouths. OwO I didn't think he was a girl before. o_O

Well....
I heard somewhere that Gaara was going to be kidnapped and killed during the 'new season', so I of COURSE had to look into this! I started reading Kakashi's Gaiden and whilst I did that, I did some background search on the newest characters (Akatsuki).
I then found a page that told me they had a female member of the Akatsuki! Her name was Deidara (D'OH) and since I am kind of a feminist... well... I just had to get into this new, powerful FEMALE character that killed my favourite character (Gaara).
And as I read on and came to the part with our dearest Deidara, I had been tricked into believeing he was a girl (but I still had my suspiscions) and instantly fell in love with him, because he was just so awesome and cool and was actually a powerful female.
Then I discovered he was a man.
But I didn't care.

Well, unlike you three, I have had past experiences with traps, so I didn't mistake him for a girl. blaugh And I found out about him on Wikipedia, when looking for the Kankurou page. I actually found out about Sasori first, and through Sasori, I found Deidara. I asked my friend who knew about Naruto, and he said that he was some guy with mouths on his hands. I was like "Omg, wonder what kind of blowjobs that person could do. I have to go out and buy some Naruto manga!" So I rushed off to do a little investigating, resulting in me buying volume 28 of Naruto from Kinokuniya. It was love at first sight, and I quickly dropped Shino and Kankurou, (who had been my favourites before) and started my Deidara obsession. o_o On that same day, I also figured out he would make a great Ganguro girl.

I never mistaked him for a girl, which is funny. Come to think of it, I didn't mistake Haku for a girl either. O_O;;
But anyways. :3
When I first saw Deidara...It was actually in a flash. And I cried, because he was singing a song that I have a soft spot for. XDD But...When I actually saw him in the manga and all of his hand-mouths glory, I was like, "Oh my god I love you. D8"

*Gaspeth!* I knoes! My friend Hana is evil. She calls Dei-san "Diarea". ;_; She also says I need to stop liking "cartoon" characters and "get a real boyfriend". Of course, I think she is jealous that lots of people chase after me. Oh my. What would they do if they found out about my Deitard-ness? o_o...
Anyways, I found out about Dei while looking up Itachi on Wikipedia. I don't know...He didn't look like a girl to me really. Then I read the article on him and I felt a crush coming...
My visit to Wikipedia was followed by some research on other sites, such as YouTube, Quizilla, deviantART and yes, my dear friend Gemini-chan. ^_^ He was irresistable...still is, of course.

i first thought that Deidara was Naruto. Don't blame me. I was tired. Besides, Deidara's WAAAAAAYYYYY much more hott. xp heart ninja but i never thought he was a girl xd VICTORY!!!!!
