Yukito was out enjoying the warm weather and picking some needed herbs, the fresh ones were always better for his potions and he had gone all of the winter with only the dried ones. He meant to make up for his lacking in good materials today as much as he could. He'd been for a while unsure of where to go hunting, didn't want to go anywhere that there would be crowds so he'd ventured out searching for a perfect place. There was a nice park, set off a ways that seemed to be for the most part abandon. From the playground equipment on hand and the condition it was in he was sure that it was an older place, one forgotten when the newer parks were built.

It suited his needs perfectly. He was moving around his red eyes on the ground as he searched for the herbs he wanted, they were here and there, hidden under bushes, near to the trunks of trees, among the flowers and tall grass. He picked only what was needed not wanting to take to much that he would risk the plants, he thanked them for their contributions to his potions before setting out to find the next group of plants.

Needless to say he really wasn't paying attention to much other then the task at hand, his long tail swishing behind him in a lazy way seeming to have a mind of its own the way it moved. It seemed completely out of synche as the rest of Yuki was moving around stuidiously.

The shout of his name brought Yuki out of his state of oblivion with a jump and he sat up without thinking which got him a little bit tangled in the bush. He freed himself then look around, confused, "Huh?" He lifted a hand to pick the leaves out of his silvery hair before he spotted the one that had yelled at him. Hard to miss the bright hair that marked one of his very best friends, "Aard?" He murmured. Then he pushed up to his feet abandoning his sachel and his herbs for a moment to hurry over to where his friend was standing.

He felt so excited seeing his friend there, "Aard!" He called back, waving. Ahhh... he was so unathletic... it was taking forever to get from where he was to where Aard was at.

Yukito gave a bit of a nod as he looked down at himself, he was taller yes but he'd gotten used to it, "Yeah a while ago." He murmured then his tail gave a bit of a swish and he took a step closer and as was his norm Yuki wrapped his arms around his friend and hugged Aard, "Been far to long since I have seen you."

He was glad that he had decided to get out today who would have thought he would be as lucky as this? He stepped back and gave Aard a smile, "How have you been? What have you been up too?"

Yukito shook his head, "Nothing different then is normal for me." He said, well one thing but he didn't really want to talk about that now did he? He gave Aard a smile, "You know me, all of what I do seems to revolve around my herbs and potions." Yukito was a very simple, very easy to understand person. He gathered his herbs so he could make his potions so he could take care of those around him, nothing more then that for the most part. He did want to expand his horizons a bit though, especially after hearing from Lore that Herbs were used for more then just potions.

Yuki blinked then gave a squeak, "Ah! Speaking of which..." He looked over his shoulder towards where he had been when Aard called out to him, where he had abandoned all of his things, "Walk with me so I can fetch my bag? We can talk as we walk."
