okay, well...i don't know how to fix this...lately I've randomly been happy, then sad, then irritable, then happy again...and right now im sad, to the point where i almost feel depressed...I get stressed over the tiniest things and consciously im telling myself that im just overreacting and everything's fine but im just not getting through to myself...i don't know what to do, if i do things that will just make me forget my issues than the issue won't go away, but sometimes i can't do anything about the issue, it's just there and it will still stay there even if i don't acknowledge it...ughh!!! gonk

One word for ya, Hormones. That whole mess of emotions is just your body givin' off too many hormones then you can handle. It's normal and might be impossible to get over until your body chemistry stabilizes again, but I got some tips.
1. Whenever I feel like there is way too many things goin' on at once and the pressure is overwhelmin' I step back and see the big picture. I look into myself and ask myself what one thing matters to me most. Then I look at what's botherin' me and see if it interferes with what makes me happy or not. If it doesn't interfere with what I love the most, then why should I stress over it? If it does, at what extent does it interfere and how can I deal with it as soon as possible? When I think that way I can eliminate normally all the problems. Sure, some of them may affect what happens to me later on in life, but in the big picture, the REALLY big picture, will it matter too terribly much? Sometimes school and all that mess gets me down, but then I realize that no matter how much I may fail and no matter how bad a grade I get, it's not gonna change the fact that I have my mate and my mate has me. We could be dirt poor and livin' in the gutters, but as long as I have her I'm happy as a clam. That's just a personal example, but you get the point.
2. FOOD! Sometimes I get in a bad mood just because I haven't had enough sweets or nutritious stuff. What you eat really does affect how you feel and behave, so it's good to balance the good food with the naughty food. So just binge on whatever you haven't had much of (either nutritious or junk food) or whatever you feel like havin'.
3. Nature! Sometimes the fast pase of technology and all that can be depressin', so all ya need to do is go where nature is and relax. Just the other day I went and looked out into the stars and watched 'em twinkle, and it made me feel so at peace. Go to a river and listen to the current of the water lazily movin' on forever, or perhaps the fallin' of rain, the woosh of the wind if it's breezy, this all depends on what weather there is but it's all relaxin' if you look at it the right way.
4. Sleep! Another one of my favorites. Just close your eyes and drift off to your own little happy place that no one can touch. When you're asleep nothin' can disturb ya (unless someone yells really loud or somethin', but that's not what I'm talkin' about). Forget everythin', forget life and death all together, just think up what you want things to be like, and see that in your mind and stay there for a while. If ya ever feel upset again you can always return there for a little while. It's not retreatin' from the harshness of reality, it's just takin' a breather from it.
5. Talk it out with someone! Keepin' whatever's botherin' ya bottled up inside won't help anyone, even if you think keepin' it secret will keep your friends happy. Let people help you, even if you think it may be selfish or a stupid reason. If it upsets you, it isn't a stupid reason, and talkin' it over will get it off your chest as well as give you the opportunity to hear other people's opinions and tips on the matter that might just help to prevent it!
I think that's it. Besides, this is long enough. I think there are a few more things but I'll save 'em for another time because my rants are long enough as they are. Hope that helps. biggrin
Oh wait, one more quick one
6. Watch somethin' funny. Sometimes, no matter how upset you may be, just findin' somethin' incredibly funny that makes ya laugh can make it all better. If you ever find a video or picture or joke that makes you laugh really hard, save it. Then, if ya feel down, just bring it back up and look at it again. It doesn't work all the time, but sometimes it can.

well semok, i must say, that is useful, but im afraid that #1 may not help in this situation...the binge eating is terribly unhealthy for me, i don't want to add fattiness to my list of things to stress about...and if i fail in school, im sry things just wouldn't work out for my lifestyle cause it's bad enough that jake's not in school anymore...and i don't know about the funny movies, i have hard times laughing, right now whenever i talk to people i get upset unless it were with jake cause he knows how to keep me calm but sadly he's not there, well he might be now but it's too late to call and btw i REALLY don't feel like babysitting tomorrow cause ill have to deal with this little kid named jake who is terrible to his little sister. sleep sounds nice...but i wanna wait around and see if jake will come on msn...

If you think fattness is a problem then you didn't see the video I posted in this guild gonk Also, and this is kind of mean of me to say, but in school there is always someone below you academically. It is impossible to be the lowest of the low, and I know some very good payin' jobs that don't require smarts. Also, the kind of smarts they teach in school are hardly ever used, it's the experiences you go through and learn from that matter. Though grades are important to finish an "education", they aren't that important in the real world. And I'm not sayin' to drop out of school, because...well...that's another rant for another day, but I'm just sayin' not to stress things if a few subjects just aren't your thing. 3nodding

Well, if you don't do good is it the end of the world. Will you look back 50 years from now and say that you messin' up this one thing made them hate you forever and ruined your life? Sure, it's a disappointment, but we aren't perfect and from time to time we do things we wish we could have done better on, but then we learn from them and get better for the next time.

Then I believe you should share more info to your friends in real life and give them time to understand you. If your family and friends understand you, then they will be able to help you. and if you want to try to forget all those painful memories, try meditation. Just have silence, close your eyes, and think of one thing that will cheer you up or make you feel better.

It takes practice, just write somethin' down about how you feel when you're happy and when you feel down read it back to yourself and remember that you can feel like that. That might help.
