Race History
Demon Demons are almost as ancient as the High elves. Unfortunately for the rest of us, demons are clever, as well as strong. They may be clever, but they are often rash, and almost animal like in their decisions. Their long, ram-like horns, and hard skulls are often used to challenge others. Their tails they use like whips, but are not strong enough to hold their entire weight if they try to hang on something. They live in dangerous territories. More often then not, one can find tribes of demons living at the base of the Eastern mountains, for they cannot handle the cold of the mountain tops. Some other, more secluded, tribes may be found in the Desert, roaming, and searching for sources of food, or shelter. Generally they are entirely carnivorous, but if forced to, they'll eat plants that most other races can't.

Human Humans are the youngest race discovered in Alerna. They have not one specific city, or territory, but have found refuge all over the land. They are smaller, and weaker then the Elves, and don't live as long, but they are incredibly clever for their youth. They've already found ways to manipulate water, and earth, without using magic, something the elves were curious about when humans first appeared. Their one downfall, though, will be industrialization. Elven astromancers have seen futures of huge, towering buildings, and giant metalllic machines, that defy the use of magic. Currently Humans and Elves are at a standstill concerning the use of tools, rather then magic. Humans with magical gifts are rare, and hard to find, and even rarer are humans who've mastered their gifts the same way elves have. Soon, humans may end up wiping out the other races of Alerna completely, and eventually they'll wipe out themselves. But this future is something the Elves, and some other races, are trying to prevent.
High Elf(Superior) High elves, one of the eldest species of elves on Alerna. Evolved from the humans. These elves are very stable, and powerfull. There long ears stand straight up. Just like there lesser cousins the Blood elves, that evolved from Night elves. These peace loving biengs go for nothing but to protect ones they love, or there friends.
The High elves skin colour comes in many different colours. From ghost white to light brown. Bellow is a list of skin colours a high elf can be born with.

Light brown is the rarest of the High Elf colours, they beleave one with such skin tone carry strong magical powers and will live a wonderfull life in the neer future.
Night Elf Night Elves, the decendants of the High Elves, beleaving that they are worth much less then there older cousins, many of the elves beleave that they are under there command when meeting them. These are very gentle and frail biengs. As light as a feather, it is quite easy to brake even the strongest bone in there body. There fast biengs, and study in the great arts. There eyes glow in the dark. Aswell as become semi transparent to blend into there enviroment. Gold eyes signify great power, but many of the elves that recieve gold eyes get corrupted by greed. And dissapier into darkness, no one knows werre these biengs dissapier to. But no one ever dared to find out. They became life after many High elves migrated up into the dark forest of the mountains, creating a secret well hidden deep beneath the ground, that is one of the many sources that lets Night elves live for an unending life time. If that well becomes corrupted, great pains will corrupt these gentle biengs.

Dwarf Dwarfs, the smaller version of the human. Some say that the humans originated from these tiny power houses. They are fantastic hunters, and make the best of warriors. there frail with magic for they shunned, and werre shunned by the goddess of magic"Elaayna"for she despises dwarfs and humans alike. The Dwarfs are naturaly muscular, even when young. The women aswell even grow beards of there own, dwarfs have short legs, and can lift things 3x there weight but there much to heavy for jumping and have a hard time keeping up with others.
Dwarfs have pretty much the same qualities as a human accept for a specific eye and skin colour. There skin can be black. But only the evilest of Dwarfs have such a corrupted soul, aswell they have red eyes. There called the Dark Legion.
Vampire Vampires are mysterious creatures in Alerna. Their origins are unknown, and only the vampires themselves know where they were first born. But nowadays, they roam, individually, across Alerna, hunting for blood. Stronger, fully realized vampires might be able to fly, without becoming a bat, but otherwise, large bat's may be seen at night. Many village's around Alerna are in constant fear of these dark shapeshifters. At night, it may be very hard for a traveler to find shelter at night, if the village has had many vampire attacks recently. The difference between a vampire and an Undead, though, is the need for Blood to run through the vampires veins. They cannot supply it themselves though. That is why they hunt.

Blood Elf(Equal to the night elf) Equal to the night elves, no one realy knows how these elves came to be. But there very short for elves. And much more sensative, there ears stand straight up like the High elves but there eyes glow like the Night elves. They are a mix between the two species and have the same skin colour as the high elves. But there eyes normaly go from strange discusting colours.
Lime green

These elves are nothing special, and there not designed for fighting, they love the taste of blood. So they preffer to eat there meat rare. Banished from every even city in Alerna. They hide underground planning there revenge as they wait angrily for the right moment to strike.
Dark Elf(Lesser) The dark elf. An expirement gone wrong as the night elves attempted to make there species stronger. As it all backfired, they became to strong and fled to the dead mountains to the south, a barren landscape with no plant life. The dead bones of giant animals lay scattered all over the place, there city lies inside the mountain other then ontop like the night elves.
There skin colours are much darker then the night elves and there eyes dont glow like they do. Not much is known about these elves due to there fear of the outside world.

Troll These young monsters are thoughtless, rash, and brazen beasts. Their razor-like tusks are often used for fighting eachother when deciding who will own the female troll, or a section of land. Their battle's often lead to the death of whoever is weaker. The beasts put much calibur, and trust into physical strength, and size. The chief of the their city Zalnaar is by far the biggest troll ever existed, other then the ancient troll hero, Khyrd'nak Lyd. The new chief is taller then some of the shaks the trolls are only smart enough to build.

Ogre Ogre's are rather similar to the troll's in brain power, but have very different values. They're smaller, and slightly smarter then the troll's, but strength and power aren't the greatest things in life for them. Living in the plains of Talnaar they make weapons out of sticks and rocks and bones, and hunt things like deer, bear, and maybe troll if they're looking for revenge. Smaller then the High elves, but not much bigger then a human, they provide entertainment for hunters who have nothing better to do. They aren't very clever, so their hiding places are mediocre to say the least. Their huts are small, mud-packed holes in the sides of small hills and knolls. Their origins are a little less obscure. They probably originated from a brutal mix between a troll and a lycan.

GnomeGnomes! Everyone loves Gnomes! So cute and tiny, they werre the first of the world to descover mechanics, there city is run entirely on electricity and share there information with no one. For mounts, they use animals of the real world as a design to create mechanical beasts to ride on. These little guys make frail warriors, or melee combat in general. But they are great with magic, blessed by the goddess of magic, these little guys pack a great punch for such a small form. Dwarfs and Gnomes fight amongst one another on who had evolved from who, the gnomes think the dwarfs took after the, and the dwarfs think otherwise.
Undead(Zombie)LycanNymphSome believe these strange beings are the beggining of all elven races. Some say that Nature provided a way to speak to us all, as the lycans would say. Nonetheless these beings are all connected to a special tree. This tree is their life force. If their tree dies, the nymph dies. If the Tree is cut down, the Nymph will become maimed, then die. If the tree is watered, the Nymph will feel refreshing energy flowing through it's body. These magical creatures have many powers of Camoflauge, and in extreme cases, photosynthetic instances of using the Sun to make them become stronger. But the most common types of Nymph magic's, are transformation, into either a Spirit Tree, or a Spirit Flower. The plants are not real, merely an illusion to protect the nymph, but it's very effective. For many ages these creatures have hidden themselves in forests, and swamps, with no real cities for others to visit.
Nymph's physical appearances vary some, but all of them have wooden Antlers on their heads, similar to branches, so if need be, they can stand still and remain unseen. Also, The nymphs have no choice but to look like the tree's they inhabit. They must have skin tones like
