A place where all knowledge is held. Tonight we saw the Scubs command cluster.
There Renton and Eureka find their home and there family. Having reached the shores of the cluster the group met a woman on the beach. Renton saw that she was his sister Diane Thurston.
He ran after her and was drawn into the library which is the clusters pseudo image of itself. Diane explains that the Limit of Question will soon be reached. The scubs have chosen to act first and absorbe the humans.
Renton convinces her that he can stop the attacks by the humans and convince them that Corallians and Humans can live together. His love for Eureka makes a powerful argument.
At the same time Eureka follows him into the cluster and, along with the children, she meets Adrock Thurston.
The words of each are true and resolute. They will protect the scub and love each other. Together they will find a way to make scub and human co-exist.
Powerful stuff. Really,
Mean while, Dewey Novak prepares his attack upon the cluster. From miles above the planet he sits calmly. He tells the world how the scub attacked the planet (now revealed to be earth). He stirs their souls with stories of protecting the world.

So what was your favorite part?
Which character did you most connect with.
Obviously I felt for Renton, but secretly I was mesmerized by Diane.
It seemed like every word Renton said only made her cringe more. He's bravery was more than she would have ever dreamed.

Dewey is a hideous, evil, filthy MONGREL! You know what?? That's gonna be us. I betcha that's what some idiot politician would do if humans ever did meet with some other kind of life form.
IMBICIL!!
Also.....I loved the feels of this one. It was inspiring, but sad at the same time. Sad because the scubs were losing hope of ever being able to live peacefully with humans.
GO RENTON AND EUREKA!!! 4laugh

OH, and let's not forget Adrock Thurston.
There the kids are all crying and acting like Links... then all of the sudden in walks "grandpa"...
It would have been nice if he had said something. Looking at it in retrospect now, I have to wonder if he was real. The man never said anything. He could have been an image that the coral projected for Eureka.
Either way, it was a very powerful and emotional moment when Renton see's his father again.

Like you had time to notice! Oh yeah, you were so eying Diane Tolly! xd But your right, Adrock the 'hero' didn't get any airtime at all!
Hey, I missed something. Who I most connected with, eh?? OKAY!
I connected most with...the scubs, actually. I know that sounds weird, but I did. So misunderstood! All they wanted was a voice, and they get some moron with a gun......
It's complicated, but the way they wanted so badly to reach out to people kinda reminds me of a part of myself. But then again, Ari-san says I must be an alien.... xd

I kept making connections to the real world the whole time. Like when Renton was saying "why can't we just work together?" or something like that and I was thinking. At this moment in time, humans and coralians working together and helping each other seems just as farfetched as the Palestinians and the Israelis! rofl You have to admit, that is kind of true, what with Dewey going all crazy and propaganda on everyone's butt. razz
I don't really know what character I connected with. I don't... really connect with the characters, really. neutral
Man... Adrock just sitting then standing there the whole time, not talking, that weird smile on his face... kinda creeped me out. neutral Maybe having him talk would just... ruin the mistique of his character. Know what I'm saying? I'm not good at conveying what I mean! xd

I know what you mean Re~Re. Adrock is all 'the hero' guy, your saying bringing him down to earth would kinda take away our 'mystery-esque'. Still, he was really creepy just....standing there. He didn't even talk to Renton. Geez, talk about your parental guidance. Nice one, Mr. Hero! rolleyes
Yeah, I don't really connect with characters that often. I just, ya know....felt for the scub corals. It does really remind me of myself at some point. Rekka, you and the gang have only seen the 'psycho-crazy-go-nuts' Kayako, so you wouldn't know.
And I said it first: Dewey = crazy demented politician of the future!! O___O Oh man, I don't wanna think about it. If we were up against aliens/alternate life forms right now instead of other humans....I can't even begin to imagine what these disgusting bastards would do. They'd twist the truth so bad the masses would believe up is left and down is east..... gonk
Hopefully, the good'uns can get their feet in the door before any such contact occurs...

Yes, we should go shoot Dewey for being a manipulative politician. Why, they ever let him out of prison I'll never know.
I think Renton is really stating to act more mature. Has anyone noticed this?
In the subbed version I didn't really notice it as much until the final episode but it's alot more obvious in the english version. He's serious and he tells it like it is.
I really like that Diane was truthful with him. It's a complete 180 compared to how Holland you to act. Holland always acted like Renton was too young to understand and Diane just tells him right off the bat.

Yeah, I noticed it, too. Especially when I read volume one of the manga, 'cause I kinda forgot about how Renton acted. My goodness. Such a little child. razz And a DIRTY-MINDED one, at that! O__O Now he's a good little boy, and more mature than Holland. razz

I hate New Jersey AND Adult swim because, AS screwed up my DVR, and being in New Jersey made it impossible for me to fix it!!

Well it'll be hard to find an english version, even on the almighty-YouTube...because most people who watch them there want the raw japanese edition with subtitles.
Go look for yourself, I think it's illegal to post links to eps here...>>
