My parents just bought me krazy glue. Of all the people to give that to, I'm definitely not the best person. It had a reason(to fix a broken knitting needle until I can get to the LYS next week) but still...not the best idea...

I would've been a down right terrible person to have crazy glue earlier this week. School's really doing a number on me lately. All this crazy talk of finals and papers and due dates....

I have so many glue-related stories...
If you glue your fingers together, take a butter knife and slice them apart.
Believe me and my mom's co-worker on that one... rolleyes

Acetone(nail polish remover) will disolve the glue if you do manage to glue your fingers together. My husband won't let me play with the super glue anymore because I've glued my fingers together so many times. redface

I had heard super glue was originally invented when they were trying to find ways to close cuts in ways other than sutures. (I am soooo not spelling right tonight, I am sure!) Hence, everyone's affinity for gluing fingers and other things together I guess - just trying to do its originally intended job! lol On the bright side, I heard it is great for paper cuts!

You're right, it was originally medical glue for the army.
You can buy was is sterilized crazy glue in the first aid section... I think they call it "New Skin" It's a liquid bandage thing.
I wonder if it has any crafty uses............
