What do you guys like music-wise?
I'm into Techno and Progressive/Symphonic Rock music, my favorite artist are: Ladytron(Destroy Everything You Touch), Dream Theater(Octavarium),
Avantasia(The Seven Angels) and Nightwish(Dark Chest Of Wonders.)
Out of all of those I recommend you check out Ladytron's Destroy Everything You Touch, it's my favorite song by my favorite artists. :3

I'm pretty open when it comes to music. I will listen to a plethora of different kinds. The ones I will stay away from though are derogatory Rap and Heavy Metal. I don't much like the whole, screaming-into-the-microphone-so-you-can't-understand-what-I'm-saying sort of music. sweatdrop

I like techno too! And rock, J-Rock, Pop, J-Pop, Metal, New Age too, some Hip-Hop, and some Country.
X3 Some heavy metal isn't all that bad, I know what you mean though. My friends and I said that when they demoniacally scream into the mic, what they're really saying is "I like butterflies and rainbooows!"

Techno I'll listen to occasionally. But rock is the music that hits the heart's core. I especially like classic rock.

Crazy and Proud I like techno too! And rock, j-rock, pop, j-pop, metal, new age too, some hip-hop, and some country. X3 some heavy metal isn't all that bad, I know what you mean though. It irks me when people use Rock and J-Rock as different things, they are only use when referring to the nationality of the artist or band.

Hmm, I love Rock, Techno, I don't mind Pop (but it has to be VERY catchy) and sometimes even Classical. I have no idea what the difference is between Rock and Metal, but oh well. Favourite bands/songs/artists - Muse <3, Some Offspring classics, Linkin Park (but only the old albums), er, er, Papa Roach (the older Albums), OH! And of course, Nuno Bettencourt and every single band he's ever been in (that's like...all 5... or something...), and Daft Punk <3
And now, if that List isn't long enough, I'm gonna add QOTSA, Anastasia, Dirty Pop (NSync gonk ), And so many more things that I can't even remember until I come across again.
scream I really should shorten that down...

Daft punk= love! My favorite song from them is either Technologyic or Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. 3nodding
The differences between Rock and Metal is a slight change in rhythm.

I think we all pretty much agree that Rap is not that great. 3nodding I don't mind listening in when Will Smith does it though. He's actually a clean rapper and I enjoy his lyrics and beat because of it. 3nodding
