After the descussion of a tampon eatting smoosh faces dog (cute as he may be) took over the burger discusion I though we needed a place for amusing animal stories pics and such.
You can also talk about types of animals you dislike. Such as; my sister has a bird phobia. I'm buying her a bird feeder for her birthday.... and a bee bee gun.

I DEMAND A BUNNY OPTION!
Even though I voted that my girlie is all I need.
I still /want/ a bunny, too. XD

I used to have a dog (Australian Shepard to be exact) named Koko. She was a good dog, but as she got on in years, she started having health problems and she was getting harder and harder to take care of so a friend of ours offered to let her live on his farm and spend the rest of her days relaxing in the country air.
Now I own a Cat (A Manx. For all those that don't know, a Manx has no tail, rather it's just a little stump) named Jin (I call her Jin-Jin). She is adorable, and very skittish, as she will run and hide somewhere when you get close. She also has the cutest little habit of squeaking instead of meowing. My mom keeps her at her house.
Here's a picture of the Tail-less Wonder (Image is too big to actually post):

I wish I still had a cat... or dog... of my own. Growing up I had a german-shepard-mut named Cricket. I loved her like the little sister I never had. She slept in my bed followed me around everywhere and ate my stuft animans and *cough* under graments. I have't seen her since me mother sent me away before 5th grade. I found out at Christmas that she had died of old age.

XD I can't change an existing poll and I'm too lazy to delet this one and start over so here is your bunny option Or... Bunnies; it'd start out with two cute balls of fluff and after much squeaking the next time you look !BAM! There are fifty of the suckers crammed in the tiny cage. I also forgot ferrets Ferrets who cares if they don't have bladers and smell... Musky... they are smart little explorers that like hidding in the dark tunnels called people's clothes... Its always a good excuse to reach in a girls shirt to 'retreave' your pet ferret.

Most of my pet stories that don't have a happy ending unless they are other people's pets.
When I was mabie 6 I was at my father's house with my two older sisters. His home is only two houses away from the little lake our nighborhood borders. Well The man that lived on the lake's edge was a family friend and we happen to be in his yard when he found a duck that had been attacked by a snapping turtal. Its leg was hanging by a tendon So we ran to our dad crying. We said "Daddy please fix the poor ducky. You can fix anything." (He is a carpenter.) So he got the duck; and promised us he'd try. Using and exacto knife that had been sterlized he amputated the leg, cleand the wound, folded the extra skin back over the end, and bandaged it up. (He had watched a history chanel specal on civil war medicen a few days before.) Remarkably the duck pulled through. We kept it in our old rabbit hutch. Feed it every day and my father changed the bandaged. Soon it was moved to my friend's back yard on the lake and the door was left open so it could come and go as it please. I saw Hoppity(the one legged duck) every summer for many years after that.

Banryuu knows this. I have four cats, and 1 kingsnake. Two of my cats are in her signature.
The only kind of pets I don't like...are the ones that you can't handle. So...I don't like boring pets...such as fish, and lizards that you can't hold without fear of your fingers gitting latched on to.
Geckos don't make good pets. gonk
