Man.... those were good times..... good times.... I don't encounter anyone who dosn't go back and play those kind of games and think "wow.... That was great" Hell! Most of the people I know hold their old N64 as their pride and joy! Do not feal old because of that! Those are trolphies of gaming and if those kids don't understand that then they deserve to be beat with a poison mario mushroom!

Las palabras de amor... I want more Crash games!
I used to have the first Crash Bandicoot game and it was one of the few games I was allowed to play, it was amazing!
I miss the good old days. sad
Let me hear the words of love...

When I first played Super Mario 64, I was nine years old, and I was blown away by the 3D graphics. I think I developed a premature sense of spatial relationships from that game, because I'd try to draw stuff in isometric perspective after that to make it look like the game. I'd never played a 2D game before then because the 64 was my first gaming experience.

My first game system was a Commodore 64 or a Vic 20 - one of the two. And the other was my second. rofl I remember spending literally hours as a kid typing in little fiddly commands to run a game, then discovering I'd missed a page at the beginning of the command book. I never did get that game to run. rofl
And my first games on those computers were Ping Pong and Space Invaders. ninja 3D graphics? You must be joking!
To round out the sounding like an old granny: Kids today don't know how good they've got it! And I'm only 25 crying

I remember saving up money babysitting all summer just to buy one of those. sweatdrop
My first system was the original Nintendo and my first game was that sweet 3 in 1 cartridge with Mario Brothers, Duck Hunting/Skeet Shooting, and Track and Field. I remember being blown away the first time I went to a friends house and saw the original Playstation graphics.
I heart Crash Bandicoot.

What if your half and half? My dad got me a N46 when I was...hm... seven maybe? Anyway, I didn't play many of the classics but I did play Paper Mario, Star Fox, Diddy Kong Racing etc. Yay, Paper Mario!

Crash Bandicoot was great! Ya know.. when it was still owned by Naughty Dog. I think that was one of the first games I got for my Playstation 1. The first was Tekken I think.
My first console was the Super Nintendo, and I still have it today and it works. In fact, I played it yesterday xd
When kids talk about the older games, I do feel elderly. But even more, I feel elite and superior. The slight ego boost makes me nod my head wisely and tell them all about the cool older games and how it used to be. And after they listen they call me senile and go play their Xbox 360 xd
Oh well, I like old-school heart

I agree. Kids these days dont even realize the games that were out when we were kids. I was in love with Sonic on Sega Genesis when i was younger and i loved playing it. I skipped buying the Nintendo 64 because my friend had it and i played it at her house all the time. Then when me and my brother bought PS2 and then xbox....i got depressed because i missed my old sega genesis. Its sad really. I do realize the graphics were nothing but i still love the game.
