Kind of a random thought I'd turn into discussion.
What Pokemon pairs go well together? As in, you'd expect to see them together in a Double Battle or breeding.
Obvious ones include:
Nidoking and Nidoqueen Volbeat and Illumise Plusle and Minun Gardevoir and Gallade Tauros and Miltank
I personally like the two Nidos.

KirliaEmi I think Butterfree and Beautifly would work better. 3nodding Well, Beedrill/Butterfree were released as a pair originally, well, version opposites at least. Beautifly and Dustox are branched evos of the same pokemon.

True, I understand the releasing pairs, but it doesn't make complete sense to pair complete opposites. sweatdrop Wouldn't it be better to pair two butterflies?

Beedrill and Vespiquen are bees/hornets. Butterfree and Beautifly are butterflies. Dustox, Mothim and Venomoth are moths. Drapion and Gliscor are scorpions.
