voxule sat staring angrily into the blindingly bright outside world. It had been 5 months, 14 days, and 21 hours since she had been assigned to this retched place. 110 of these 167 days spent on the earth-planet had been ridiculously hot to the unfortunate non-native. This planet Gaia, Earth as it translated, was far too close to the Sun Star for voxule's liking...hardly tolerable. The heat and energy put off from the star was enough to burn one's epidermal layer, yet it as all too common occurence that voxule should observe the human beings emerge from their shelter holes in swarms, displaying all degrees of nudity.

"Foul human infested filth rock!" voxule said through a snarl. She would have spat from her vexation had her face not been masked. With a rather discontented sigh, the female alien set off to resume the task for which she had been abandoned on this polluted stench satellite in the first place. The sooner she collected data on the Earth... and its disgustingly un-evolved inhabitants, the sooner she could return to her homeland. Glorious, glorious homeplanet that it was.

voxule wandered around her assigned living den in search of Earth-life to collect information on. Upon finding a tiny yellow and black flying beast ramming itself into the window glass, she came to a halt. She pulled her IPTD (Inter Planetary Telecommunications Device) from her belt and with a few clicks of a knob, shot the small earth-creature with a tiny sound wave beam. It was enough to stun the horrible monster and send it plummeting to the ground. voxule then proceeded to document all findings about this thing, apparently referred to as a ''wasp'' here.

At dusk, voxule finally decided that the UV rays were at a low enough spectrum to venture outside of the shelter. Time for collecting data on larger life forms. Armed with the classic IPTD and little else, she began her daily treck to one of the more popular human attractions - the bar. Once arriving at her destination, she would, as she had for the past 3 months after discovering this congregation of humans, sit and observe. Strangely enough, these ''Gaians'' as they announced themselves, had peculiar enough dressing habbits that she had never been questioned about her identity.

After about 5 hours had past (GST), voxule opted to leave, having had her fill of Earth-spirits and human stench. She spotted it then. A furry white beast...with long ears and equally lengthy hind feet. It moved in sporadic hopping fashion down the centre of the city street. voxule hadn't seen one of these in person, only once or twice whilst viewing a digitalised image projected by the IPTD. Naturally, she followed it. Closely. She imput data as she tracked the ghastly creature with its unhealthy looking red eyes. It looked...rather soft...touchably soft. voxule concluded that touching the beast might prove beificial to her studies, so she crept down on all fours and pounced on the unexpecting victim. She tested the weight of her captured prey. Not too heavy, granted that the high level of gravity on this planet was weighting the long earred monster down as well. The softness of the fur was just as she had thought it might be...she looked around to make sure no one was around as she sat on the paved black surface. And then she sat in the glow of the moonlight greedily petting the calm and no longer struggling beast.

voxule was transfixed with the warmth and softness of ''rabite'' or whatever it was. So transfixed that she failed to look up when the load roar of the human-steered transportation machine came ever closer. The operator of this vehical, being in a state of drunken stupor had failed to turn on the headlights on their machine, and our voxule...often clad in dark colours...happened to blend right in with the dark of the night and the asphalt. And that is how it ended for one Earth-rabbit and one alien visitor.
The death was nearly instant. The driver of the deadly automobile not slowing after the impact, continued on in a wave of destruction, continuing right off the face of a cliff. And that concluded voxules 5 months, 15 days, and 8 hours on Earth.

The spirits that had been in charge of kiling voxule so she could perform another duty didn't really realize they had killed the rabbit too at first. But as it was their job, they vanished both bodies from the scene, repaired all the damage caused to both the bodies, the land and the truck. Now that voxie and the rabbit were repaired the two souls were sent to bond with a deity and for some reason with eachother, in the realm of the Tison gods.

This bonding wouldn't be remembered by them but what happened before vox's death and after would.

A thin gold chain was placed around her neck and her body was left upon a ship that was about as advanced if not moreso then what she was used to. She was now lifeless, holding a rabbit, on board the only living space ship that had ever been created-the Samadeuanna. It was a Tison vessel that had a soul and was powered by that soul. A rather ingenious and unintentional creation.

One of the beings upon the ship-one Charlene Phillip Dartsmoore-recieved a message on a small PDA type device, that there was a new guardian on board the ship. It gave all of the information on Voxule and the rabbit and-when the bonding had finished and a relic had appeared to hosue the deity's soul-some info on the deity voxie carried.

Dartie sat and waited as voxule's soul was sent back to her body and she was awoken from her slumber. "Greetings Voxule. And welcome to the Samadueanna. I am afraid your assignment on gaia just got a tad harder."
