The beach of the Pundu island is completely sand, accept for a few hundred yards off the coast when the sand stops suddenly, and a few feet later the entire coast drops off into oblivion. There are also some couple-ton rocks from once-existing cliffs, but they'll wear away in a couple hundred years.
The water is cool, and the waves are large. Perfect for surfing durring the summer. There aren't any animals in the water that would harm a Pundu, but Watchers would do good to keep them close to shore, as nobody knows what is beyond the dropping point.
Right now Chaolin, the angelic leader, is teaching normal Pundus how to heal themselves or to use water as an attack. If you are a demonic Pundu, you can't learn these things. However, you are welcome to post in here!
*insert cool intro by Chaolin here* Thanks Kyo!

The entirety of the Pundus village gathered upon the beach, on a cool night, with giant campfires to warm them. Watchers and Pundus alike encircled these flames. It had been days since the Angelic and Demonic baby Pundus had appeard on the Pundus Island, and watchers had gathered from all over to compete to win the honor of raising one. Now they only waited for Anathia to announce the contest. "My family!" An old voice cried over the murmering croud. "Please, we shall start the event!" The croud became quiet and listened to Anathia explain the competition. "Tonight will be a storytelling night! We will hear a story from each of you prospective Watchers, and from them decide who will watch over the two new arrivals. The story will be about the baby that they wish to watch over. It will be told from the view of the Watcher as it observes its Pundu living through its teenage years. What is it most afraid of? What does it love the most? What does it hate the most? What is its favorite hobby? What profession is it working towards? Set the story in whatever part of town you'd like, at whatever time of day or night you would like. These are the things we wish to hear about." --------------------------------------------- Hours passed and the pundus island was then enthraweled by four watchers, all speaking of the demonic boy and angelic girl that needed a home. Their stories were all touching, and all showed great potential for watcher material. However, in the end Anathia had to choose two. A watcher named Dixie would take care of the angelic girl. And a watcher named Echo would be taking care of the demonic boy. "I now introduce Felicity and Yaotzin, the two new members of our tribe!" Anathia announced, with the two watchers and their odd pundus at her side.

And thus the introduction of Yaotzin and Felicity began. All of the pundus and their watchers made their way to the beach, and took part in the festivities. Anathia wandered the croud speaking with watchers, petential watchers, and pundus, Handing out gifts to commemorate the event.

Dippy watched the festivities with a slightly distracted interest. Holding her feet and rocking on her heels, she put off the slightly daft expression that was typical to her.
She wondered what was going on, and so had actualy showed up when ordered.
"Hmm?" she asked, brushing her hair out of her eyes absentmindedly.

((RP was moved to pages 191- *not now known*. THis announcement appeared on page 199.))
Anathia's hut door swung open, creaking just a little. In her hands she held two bottles. One sinister looking, bent over, and spiky. The other looked as if it were made of air, and had a quaint set of wings on it. She had obviousely been experimenting with her magical skills. After standing, as if pausing in thought, she made her way towards the group of watchers that had accumulated.
"It's so nice to see you all here, still. Thank you for showing up for this wonderful event." Her old eyes formed little smiles, and she used the magic that she'd studied to master for so long to hold up the two bottles. They floated in mid air near the watchers. "These are two very rare bottles. Rarely given to a pundu. Once, a long time ago, I made some just like them. I was only playing with magic, and had no idea that it would be so dangerous. When I wasn't looking my children got into them. Thus, I caused those wars that errupted so long ago.
And last night, as I slept, I dreamt of a new way to use those bottles. A way to use them to unite demonics, angelics, and us un-altered pundus. I will give these two bottles to pundus that were born normal, and they will become angelic or demonic in nature. That way, the demonics and angelics that are integrated into our town will have normal pundus that can relate to them!
I will be watching all of you, all of the owners of un-altered pundus, and will reward these two bottles to two of those owners. Tonight."

((Important things that popped up in the Beach RP in the thread. For those of you who weren't there! ^_^
An RP that was specifically between Dark and I. Between Radien, Lilliki, and Anathia.))
Lilliki fluttered towards Radien, eyeing him without his noticing. She had heard so much about the war that he and Chaolin had fought. Creaping closer, she wondered if he would recognize her in any way; but then remembered that she hadn't even been borne before he left.
"What are you doing down here?" Lilliki asked, comming off rather blunt though she'd meant to sound cheerful.
Dark held her head in her hands, "I told him not to ome, I truely did! But does he listen? For now, we just need to make sure he's out of sight"
Radien sat down, not paring her a glance. He humped, "Should I not be here?"
"No... Actually you shouldn't." Lilliki eyed him. She'd always wondered what he looked like. She had been delivering letters to the demonics and angelics from her mother for years, but she'd never met the leaders before. Only heard rumors. "Mom said you and Chaolin had made a treaty that you'd never come down here and neither would she. I mean I know he's like, your kid, but still, you breaking the treaty could lead to some major trouble."
Anathia had been walking through the croud, watching her grandchildren being introduced to the group, for a while when she noticed Radien. At first, she was happy to see her son, tall and grown, strong as any Pundu could be. But then she remembered those days long ago, and fear for the community filled her. Anathia ran through the croud and stood next to him, looking upon him in disbelief.
"Lilliki!" She gasped. "Why didn't you tell me he was here?!"
"People should start to know, that treaties like those, will be broken" His voice was stern, he turned to look at the Pundu, his gaze cold.
Lilliki almost glared at him, but her gaze was inturrupted by Anathia's appearence.
"Mom!" she squeeled, surprised that such an old Pundu could move so fast. "I! I.. I was going to tell you. But you know... I was curious."
Radien's Gaze mooved to Dark in the distance, who looked back to him with a 'now-look-what-you've-done' look. "Hello, Mother" He muttered, not looking up at her.
"I see you've finally met your youngest sistser..." Anathia eyed her son. "She was borne months after you and Chaolin left. I tried to contact you, but gave up after a while.
You know you shouldn't be down here. And you were the first to sign that treaty! So don't use that tone with us! I took your child into my society because you asked me to, so you should respect our rules and stay in the mountains!"
Anathia sighed and told Lilliki to go. Somebody needed to watch over the croud, as well as keep an eye out for Choalin. If she were to show up now it'd be horrible. Turning back to her son, Anathia touched her head in stress.
"I'm sorry, but you have to go home son. I am your mother, and I love you, but I also love our people. And for their safety, as well as yours and your group's safety, you need to leave."
She paused and looked back at the demonic boy surrounded by people. "If you would like, I can arrange for him to visit you. Lilliki can fly, and she would be willing to make routine visits with him into the mountains."
Radien stood up and wlaked away, "Keep him here" He growled, "In the caves, he would not be treated as one of us, you do realize that. Keep him here, for his own sake. But, if he wishes, he may come, I can not stop him" He walked away, thinking to himself.
After recovering from the interraction with her son, Anathia went back to her job of observing the watchers and their pundus. She was especially happy to see Dark and Mame back around the island, and happy to see Rei actually out and about.
As nighttime closed in on the beach, campfires were re-lit, and music began to play, she retreated to her cabin. Strange popping noises and flashes of light appealed to people's senses as they passed her door. Nobody was sure of what she was making...

((And more))
Anathia's old hair blew in the wind as she sat upon a log on the beach. The young Pundus and their watchers spread throughout the beach, she wondered who would make good recipients for her potions. She had an idea for one... But he might leave and never come back, and the point of these potions were to integrate the different Pundus into the society. Not make them leave....
"Lilliki!" she called to her daughter. "Take this message to your sister. Chaolin hasn't contacted me since the child was placed in our care, and I want to know if everything is okay..."
"Yes mother!" Lilliki answered. She took the letter and flew off, up the mountain.

Anathia had watched the croud long enough, and had decided on who she would award the demonic and angelic potions.
"Thank you so much for celebrating the new arrivals so enthusiastically. However, I've noticed that a few of you have spent more time out here than others, and have dedicated more time than others to helping your Pundu grow.
Thus, I would like to award Darkelementaldemon the angelic potion. Her dedication to Selisia's education should be awarded."
Walking up to Dark, Anathia smiled and handed the potion to Selisia. "Now, you don't have to use this for Selisia. You can choose to give it to someone that you feel deserves it, or you can use it on a future pundu that you take under your wing."
Anathia then turned and re-adressed the croud. "The other watcher to work hard is Mameyoshi. I'm not sure if she wants to use this for Deshwitat, because his mind is so complex and he is such a mentally strong young man. Because the demonic potion will remove that maturity and strength. However, I feel that she has the knowledge to know when she should use it, who she should use it for, or who to give it to."
Not knowing where Desh was at the momment, Anathia retreated to her cabin and placed it on her shelf. She would see Mame and her pundu eventually, and then she would give them the potion.

((More plot develpement))
Moments later Lilliki fell from the sky in a hurried rush of wind. She ran to her mother's cabin and banged on the door. Only minutes later did her mother emerge half asleep and a wee bit angry.
"Lilliki!" Anathia sighed. "I'd just lay down to rest! What is the matter with you?"
"Mother look!" Lilliki pointed to a towering, billowing collumn of smoke that emerged from the mountain top. "The monster... the monster that we thought was dead. The monster that killed the humans. It is awake again!"
Anathia's eyes lowered. She hadn't been old enough to remember the monster, but she still feared it. But then she realized what this all meant. The pundus that lived on and in the mountain would be the first to be attacked. "What has happened to Chaolin?! And my Radien?" she cried.
"They've both survived mother... But... their people have been hurt. Radien and his followers injurred the monster enough to make it retreat, but they know that it will be back. They need somewhere to go..."
By 'somewhere to go,' Lilliki meant 'here.' And Anathia knew this. But she doubted that it would work over well. The angelic and demonic babies were newly adopted, and not all of the Pundus had been friendly with the children. "If they must, we can clear out the high school for them. There will be plenty of room for them in there... But... please, tell the others for me. I don't think I can manage telling them."
With that, Anathia returned to her bed, where she dreamt of battles to come and the deaths that those battles would cause. But those weren't her only dreams. She also dreamt of a demonic and angelic leading the battle together, with a normal Pundu by their sides. All of them together, fighting for one cause. It was a sad dream, but a good dream at the same time.

Lilliki watched her mother's door shut, and then turned to the rest of the city. She called for a meeting, and met everyone at the beach. Accept this time, they were not celebrating.
"As some of you may have noticed... The volcano is active. And it's not an erruption that I fear. You see, years ago, ages ago, a monster came from that mountain. It was hungry, and it took the life of every human on the island to fill it's belly. That is where all of you watchers are from.
We thought it had died. But now it has come back, and it has attacked my brother and sister's people in their homes. The demonics and angelics now have no home, and no safe place in the mountains.
Thus, they are comming here. I know that it will be hard for all of us, but we need to house them. They will live in the high school, which is the only building big enough to house them. Please, respect them. I know that the angelics will seem 'mightier than thou' at times, and that the demonics like to pick fights, but we all need to cooperate to help save them.
Or help save us..." she muttered the last sentence.
-----------
ALL WATCHERS: You've got an assignment!
1st-Most of you are people that have been killed by this monster. It tore you up and ate you. You must now write a journal entry from your point of view that describes how you feel now that you know that it hadn't died, your fears for your Pundu now that it has to deal with the monster, and what you think should be done.
2nd-Your pundu is still young, and hasn't really faced death or been introduced to mixed cultures. From your pundus point of view, write what they fear or expect from this whole event, and what they plan to do to help out or save their own skins.
ALL OF THE PROMPT MUST BE ADRESSED. For your own help, I've underlined the specific parts that you should write about.

Deshwitat Had been on the beach for some time. He wasn't out for a nightly stroll of calm his mind or just to watch the waves. He was training.
Mameoyashi had him out in the water. She floated under the surface with him for some time, her arms crossed her face set in an unusual sterness that didn't befit the watcher normally. She was not just a gaurdian friend to this little Pundu anymore. No. She was a teacher.
Deshwitat swam in the satly waters, buidling up muscle especially in his legs. But he wasn't jsut out there to play around and swim in the water, he was hunting. Seeing how long he could hold his breath, improving upon that time. Building up endurance for the time to come.
He finally surfaced gasping for air as he had stayed under too long he looked like a half drowned rat, not in his normal clothes but just in a pair of black boxers he used as swimming trunks. She slowly crawled his way to the drier sand and collapsed panting.
Mameoyashi slowly emerged and stood besides the pundu child, her features unchanging. "Deshwitat you are improving but too slowly. Anyday that beast from the mountain could come down and swallow the village whole."
Deshwitat glared up at her from the corner of his eye. He was still breathing heavily. "Let it..huff... then... puff... They are no concern of mine!"
"Deshwitat Rudbich you know that is not true. Besides if they all ie what chance will you have?"
"It doesn't matter what chance I have. I don't need a chance, what's the point!? I do not belong here anyway...." He grunted as he stood to his feet.
Mameoyashi watched the pundu, knowing he was only a child but acting well beyond his years. He was forced to grow up so quickly, his visions had only served to take away his youth too soon. "If you did not belong here you woul not be here. Everything has it's place, you know that Desh."
"And I belong in hell..." He mumbled as she started walking to the group of rocks where he left his clothing.
"Deshwitat Rudbich! You know better than that. You are not of that world. You are not seen as a monster here."
"That is because they don't know me...." He plucked his jacket from the rocks and paused a moment feeling the lump that was the princess doll in his pocket.
"Deshwitat they don't know that other world being. The only thing you have in common with him is the sunlight thing."
"And I like the taste of blood and I look exactly like him, but with fur, you said yourself I'm nor ordinary, I can sense things, that monster. Something happened.... I'm having these visions for a reason I'm not supposed to be here!" He shrugged on his clothing and started back for the forest.
"There is a reason you are here Deshwitat. You are pundu. You do not need blood to survive you do not pray on the innocent or animals for your nutrition. You eat the bamboo and normal food with all the other pundu."
"And it tastes like ash in my mouth!" He glanced over his shoulder and growls. "I look pundu but I do not feel so."
She sighed heavily and followed her little Desh. "Maybe. But pundu or not this monster is a danger and I know you are not so callous to let Misty, Horsea and Yaotzin die by the claws of the beast. We will continue your training."
"And why must I do all this physical training then? It is not what you train me for." Deshwitat was actually glad for the subject change. He did not expect Mameoyashi to understand how he felt. Though her connection was closer to anyone he doesn't understand.
"To train the mind you must hone the body. You cannot rely on what I teach you until you can rely on yourself. The mind is nothing without the body as it's equal. I know you are intelligent for a pundu your age, but that is not everything. You will be fast, you will be strong."
"Just like my other self...." Deshwitat hissed under his breath, but Mame did not hear him.
Mameoyashi continued her explaination and lecture long into the night untill they found a place to rest for the day, a shaded secluded spot in the forest. After a small supper Deshwitat fell asleep all too soon.
Mameoyashi, who usually kept watch for the dangers had something of importance to take care of this morning. She would return shortly....

Mameoyashi stood on the beach infront of Deshwitat. As usual for the passed month the air was thick between them. Deshwitat was glaring at Mameoyashi and she was giving him a cold stern look in return.
"I want to learn more now! You cannot keep the knowledge from me, Mame!" Deshwitat seemed soaked to the fur from his water training.
Mameoyashi sighed softly. "You aren't ready yet. You must learn contr-"
"You always say that! I have control! These exercises are pointless ,you keep me from my potential!"
"I keep you from nothing. If this isn't done right it could kill you... you must wait a little while longer Deshwitat."
It was late so neither of them suspected anyone being around.
