(This takes place after something I haven't posted yet, please be patient with my Warhol references. XD Also, You can skip down to the last line if you'd like. Everything above it is just RyuRora bonding.)
Ryusuke hugged her daughter close to her chest, consoling her after the earlier events of the day. "They do not understand. You are quite different, yes; but you are most certainly not a freak." The stress of being caught in such a fragile state had caused them both much effort to continue keeping their secret.
"But... The letters... They don't like me, Matiem." The girl buried her face in her mother's shirt, sobbing; Which, mind you, was incredibly rare for this child.
"Aurora.. There was one letter left that I had not yet opened before you ran. I feel confident enough to bet you almost anything that there is something positively wonderful written inside it."
"Does it really work like that, Matiem? Is there always something good?"
Ryusuke fell quiet, laying her hand on the doorknob of the second story apartment. "In the words of Violet Baudelaire, 'There's always something.' The most wise of actions, of course, is to search for that something."
The girl let out a smile and kissed her mother's cheek. Proceeding to jump from her arms, she opened the door and rushed over to the desk. Her long curly locks bounced in unison to her small shoulders, impatiently waiting for her mother to come to her.
Ryu hurried inside, releasing the floating animal from it's bag and hurried to her child's side. Patting at the impatient girl's head, she read the letter.
"School..."
The girl cocked her head and frowned. "What's that, Matiem?"
"It's a place to learn things... Like a library, but you have to listen to people, instead. Ah, do you remember that lovely woman who gave you Poofta?"
"Nope!" the child answered cheerfully.
"Well.. We're going to go see rather soon. Go put your thing away while I confer with her, understand?"
"Hai~!" the girl answered, mimicking her caretaker's frequent habit of responding in other languages.
And so, Aurora ran off to lock Poofta in his pen and Ryu picked up the phone, dialing the number of the captain.

It was Dartsmoore who picked up strangely. "Hallo this is the Samadueanna, Dartsmoore speaking. You need to register for classes, yes Ryusuke? The teleporter is busted so you may end up-"
And sure enough midsentence the little girl and her guardian were sitting before a very short white haired woman and a little boy with long black hair who waved enthusiastically at Aurora before running over to investigate her feet. "Oooh! Fuzzy legs! How cute!" he squealed and hugged the girl. He was rather affectionate.
"As I was saying, the teleporter is busted so you ended up teleported here. Sorry about that. I'll be setting up your registration since Tan Pan just had her baby and Rouge is helping her. Feejhu is having her nap right now but she will probably be in shortly. Have a seat if you don't mind." Dartsmoore's words seemed a bit forced as if she'd rather be elsewhere. Oh well

Ryusuke eyed the child nervously, still protective over her own charge since the events of earlier that day. Aurora, on the flipped side of the coin, squealed at the affection and hugged him back. " Kawaaaaaii ~Desu! Ne ne, Mutti?"
Ryu gave a short nod to her child. "Oui, tres joli."
Again, she gave her focus back to the woman before her and took a seat. "Than you, Lady Dartsmoore. I'll try to take as little of your precious time as I'm presently able to. Though, may I inquire as to the health of both Tan Pan and her child?"
Naturally, Ryu remained as stern and calm as usual, though her tone of voice of course reflected the concerns towards both her schoolmate and her child.

"Just Dartsmoore. Lady Dartsmoore was my mother's title. As for Tan Pan and the baby they're great. Rin Kin has her Mama's skin and looks a lot like her but she's got her daddy's blonde hair." Dartie explained with a nod. "Anyway what sort of classes do you think she should have? We can't teach her french that's her job but we can teach her english and some other stuff."
Diyaka blinked at the french but he hugged the girl anyway. "You're cuddly!"

"She's going to need a refresher-course in English," Ryu replied, glancing over at the chattering children. "Especially if that's what what the uniform language of this ship is, But I could-- theoretically, give her that if it's too much of an issue." She paused for a moment, pondering the sort of things her daughter would need to know. "I fear though, That I cannot request specific classes if I do not know what is available."
Aurora, just letting the adults do their thing, snuggled the other child. "You're squishy!" she said in reply. If there was a reason behind this, I do not know it. But, I can, however, tell you that she smiled as if her strange affectionate conjuncture of words had some sort of profound meaning.

"Squishy is fun!" he said with a huge grin before standing up agian. to show the girl to a kid's seat near the desk.
Dartie thought for a sec. "I think english we can do. I'm teaching history I know that. A cultures course, gym, art, math, and I think that's about it." she said with a nod. "I'd teach them 50 different ways to kill some things but they're a bit young for that."
About that time the door was pushed open. And through it walked a sleepy looking little girl. Her skin was light green and her hair was green leaves. From two mini trees on her head, two extra arms on her back and from the bottom of her hair came long thing vines. All in all she was blatantly adorable. Her dress was basically a white cloth that was strung onto a circlular golden band then hung from her upper body and held at the waist with another circular golden band. She was rather gentle looking but seemed to stumble as she entered.
"D'yaka, who ees theys peepil?" she asked the boy, tugging on his sleeve.
Dia thought for a moment and pointed to Aurora. "I don't know but she's cuddly and has pretty feet!"
Dartie glanced at the girl and back at Ryusuke. "This is Feejhu by the way, Tan Pan Murica's godling."

Aurora stared a bit at the strange girl. Thus far, all the children she had met looked completely normal, but now.... Slowly, she came closer and reached out, touching her hair. "You're pretty...!" she stated enthusiastically, brightly smiling at the little green alien*. "Je m'apelle Aurora et elle est ma Matiem <3"
Ryusuke glanced over, briefly examining Feejhu. She smiled and gave a nod in the child's direction. Ah, did she remember this one. Vividly did she recall the night she first met her own charge. Though, this was not the time to think about it. Quickly, she shook the images out of her mind and spoke to her 'daughter.' "Chou, En anglaise, sil tu plait.'
"HAAAI~!" the child replied, and turned back to the girl to continue their chatter.
Ryusuke tucked some hair behind her ear and faced Dartsmoore once again. "If it's possible, I'd like to enroll her in all those courses you've just mentioned. Learning of her culture is something she should know, and the other sciences are essential." She turned her head left and right, to make sure no one was listening. Upon feeling comfortable, she whispered, continuing her thought. "And between you and me.. If there is anything else you feel the need to teach her, I give you both my permission and absolute support."

Dartsmoore laughed lightly. "Don't worry. She'll learn important stuff while she's here. If anyone teases her here I'll teach her what to do." Dartie said with a wink.
Leaning back in the chair Dartie spoke once more. "Yeah sure. Those courses sound good. I'm sure she'll have a good time with the classes. Feejhu and Diyaka will be joining her." looking at the girl for a while Dartie realized why she found the child's appearance so familiar." Aha! that's why she looks familiar. She's a Deshka." the woman laughed. "Her brother will be in her classes too."
Dia grabbed each girl's hands. "Let's play!" he said, leading them into a game of ring around the rosie. He loved this game. Feejhu giggled and danced along, helping the other girl to get it.

Meanwhile; Aurora, startled at the gentle tug, tripped over her skirt, but quickly corrected herself as she began to skip in circles. Her hooves clicked like clogs on the solid floor in rythem to the song, and let out a final thug as they clacked on the ground after her fall.
"Deshka? Brother?" she repeated, raising an eyebrow. Her attentive red spheres darted to the youngsters, glossing over them all as they played. She thought a bit, watching them circling an invisible spot on the floor. "I want you to know how much I appreciate everything you're all doing for them. The ones who look different... It'll be beneficial for them to acquaint themselves with others who can sympathize with that sort of belittlement."

"Deshka. It's a family name. Deyin Deshka was the deity of dragons and the demonic, his wife was a dryad. They had 3 children together and Deyin had another child with the goddess of shadows. Dijenko, Dega and Deveous were his children with his wife. From the looks of Aurora I'd say she'd Dega, new goddess of the demonic. Her brother Dijenko was reborn and is now named Eriyan, her other brother Deveous is now reborn as Vishal and her half sister Deluca is now reborn as Krishna." Dartie told the woman.
Dia and Feejhu giggled and tried to tap like Aurora did.

"Rogue mentioned the name 'Dega' on our last meeting, but failed to spesify it's meaning; So I appreciate the explanation. That sort of information puts many of the peculiar occurrences into perspective."
Aurora just giggled. She sat up and stifled her laughter enough to give some advice. "You guys need clogs!" the *girl said, brushing off her skirt, wringing the hem in her hands playfully. "They go on hooman feet and make loud noises, like mine!" she added, thunking her heals on the ground for emphasis.
*(DG, don't hit me... I was so close to putting "The horny girl" before I remembered that they're only buds at the moment. XDDD)

"Yes. I don' think you should have any trouble with the kid. Dega wasn't exactly a hard to deal with woman like her mother was." Dartsmoore said with a nod.
Dia giggled. "Sasha has clogs! I'll get some sometime." he laughed, dancing with her.

Ryusuke nodded, rising from her seat calmly. "This is quite a relief to hear." True, she had long since noticed that this girl was far more palatable then most other bratty children from her age group... But Ryu wasn't one to question that which was truly beneficial for her own good. "Now I must request a list of supplies she shall need and important dates and-or events that I should remember. And with all that has been both spoken and accomplished, I do believe we are finished here; Lest of course there be something I am which ill informed of."
And so it began...
The pacing. When ever her brain "Kicked into high-gear", as her father so blatantly put it on many occasions, Ryu had this habit of placing her fingers together before her and pacing what ever walkway she may be occupying at the time; most often the pattern resembling that of a short oval.
Meanwhile; The children continued to play, enjoying their freedom from the watchful, yet prying eyes of their adult counterparts.
(*kicks her font* I'm too sleepy to pick up my format before posting... nini v.v)

Ryusuke gave a light bow to Tisonian woman and replied. "Understood. I thank you for your assistance, Mademoiselle." Stern as ever, she simply ended the conversation there and scooped up her child.
Aurora let out a squeal of joy and threw her arms around her mother's neck. "Matiem! You bring me back here again, yes yes?" she giggled, giving a nod towards her new friends.
"Dearest child, I think you'll be seeing much more of this place in the near future."
(This would be it, yes? *prepares her journal*)
