I read it quickly. It was around four hundred pages long. Small print. excellent
although, i would not recommend it to youths of less than 14 years. yet still another excellent novel by Neil Gaiman, along with anansi boys.

I read Anansi Boys first, then went back. Still good. Supposedly there's a short about Shadow in Gaiman's short story collection.

You're right about anyone younger than 14 should not read this. But aside from that, it's a great book. I absolutely love it and the god idea in it, and all the appearances of different gods and goddeses. Amazing book.
From Neil Gaiman. I've only read this (American Gods) and Coraline. Coraline was good, too.
