Suggested Weapon:
It would be better to go in with Akantor Bow but Dragon Bow Earth works just as well.
Suggested Armor:
Well you have 2 choices on this. One is the skill Potential (If your hp is down to 24 you will do x2 your normal damage) and the Second is Reckless Abandon +2 (Your Affinity goes up 20%)
Weaknesses:
Dragon
Strengths:
Thunder, Water, Ice, and Fire
Fighting Tips:
You have a couple things you can do but I am going to tell you the easier. Before you start the quest have your farcaster set first so that as soon as you go in you can go in and get ready. well after you have all your stuff (Potions, coatings, and what not) exit to the area you first saw him and try to get his attention after doing this go and sit in the very corner (on the platform) so that when he tries to bite you he can't hit you but when you see him fly up run inside and count to 8 not to fast though or you might get shot down by a fireball. Just repeat this and you should be fine but if he goes to the other side you are going to have to move back and forth to keep distance.
Side note: if you aren't trying to make his armor just aim for the face to kill him faster.

Fighting Tips:
Well unlike it's sibling this one will involve more of knowing his moves but at the same time you have to stay close but not close enough for him to slap you. Try to aim mainly for the face and use full charges and make sure to move a good bit so he doesn't belly flop on you. If you are too far away from him there is a good chance of him calling down meteors and hitting you with one this also goes for going behind him but if you are with a group he might tail slap you. When he goes up in the air get a little distance from him and when he comes down shoot. Watch out for when he does this low flying attack because if it even nicks you, you are dead so try to stay on the side of him and roll when you see it.

Red version of black just a little more evil looking

Fatalis Horn, Fatalis Scale, Fatalis Shell, Fatalis Crimson Horn, Fatalis Crimson Shell, Fatalis Devil Eye

Kitsu no Hime I want the armour, but I don't wanna fight it!! gonk The only thing I can think of to say to that is to bad. You'll have to face him eventually... you know... after all the missions. He killed me so many times. crying But whatever

All I have to say with long swords is fill your spirit gauge, you'll cut through him like a very angry kut-ku....... and don't get snap-dragged...... also when he flies, hide in his shadow to prevent a very unpleasant fireball to the face.

use a ranged weapon vs blacky, melee red with a ds or hammer and use a bow on the wings, white... break the wings with a bow and break everything in the first round, then use ur strongest dragon element DS and demonize like hell on him...
fastest vs white was 3 rpounds 15 minutes Glvl

Don't worry, it's not too hard to avoid his attack. I personally recommend gunning (at first I used the Cronos Grenade), and hit him with everything: Dragonator (whenever you can), and Ballistae. I also use the cannon, but since they're relatively hard to aim, you might want to ignore them.
As for armor, you may want Monoblos S Armor, you can jewel Attack Up (Large).
