This is the link to the first chapter of Midnight Sun, a future book by Stephenie Meyer, which is Twilight from Edward's point of view. I read it and loved it, it's a real insight on Edward and they way he thinks. I really adored this little chapter. Edwards point of veiw is now told. Well at least for the first chapter of Twilight. But I do hope that she will be releasing that after Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.

The first chapter of Midnight Sun was great! Seeing things from Edward's perspective puts a whole different spin on the story, making it even more of an interesting book than it already is. I've always wondered what Edward was thinking when he was unable to read Bella's mind; it was amusing how much it bothered him. and also, learning what his thoughts were during his first close encounter with Bella when she came in his science class and he about tore the desk in half; now we know why he could hardly stand her being so close to him, as well as an entire plot to kill everyone in the class room and how to deal with the aftermath, my does Edward have an active mind! I can't wait for more of this to be brought out; I hope she publishes it.

Midnight Sun, I read it, and loved it. It explains so much about the story, a completely different side to the story, its great. I cant wait till' it comes out, too bad it's gonna be awhile.

I like the first chapter. I really want her to finish it, so I can see he was thinking and doing at certain times...in the meadow...during the Angel chapter chapter and during the escape chapter...during Port Angeles...Alphie's fanfic is as close as I can get, and she doesn't update very often. crying

eek <--- My exact expression when I stumbled across the first chapter of Midnight Sun.
I think it would be fun to have Twilight rewritten in Edward's point of view. Just for comparison's sake. I would love to be able to read through both Twilight and Midnight Sun and get the COMPLETE story. I think it sounds really fun.
Shortly after I discovered it, I told someone at work about it (during the Eclipse craze), and it spread like wildfire.
