So, I am about to talk to my school's director about directing the student production next year.
I'll be a Jr then.
I was wondering if any of you have any ideas as to a good show to direct.
I have to bring up a few ideas when I present myself as wanting to direct.

Check, Please by Jonathan Rand. It's a one act about blind dates. It's a very flexible script and wouldn't cost a lot to put on at all. 3nodding

We had two senior directs at my school, which were cut down to 40 minute one acts. We did Boys Next Door and Baby With the Bath Water, both of which turned out AMAZING. It seemed like a lot of the audience didn't really get Durang though... but I love Durang so I didn't care, hahaha.
Other good one acts I've seen or shows I think would make good one acts are The Diviners, The Marriage of Bette and Boo (more Durang...hooray!) David's Mother, Anatomy of Gray, Bang Bang You're Dead, The Shape of Things, Metamorphoses (<3) and Beau Jest.
@juldo: Sylvia? As in the goat-sex Sylvia show?
