Ice once lived in Sootopolis, home of many water pokemon. Ice lived in peace usually going onto other Islands and towns for shopping reasons and to visit family and friends. He befriended a Squirtle when he was ten years old. They had many battles and adventures together. Ice watched it evolve into a Wartortle, and eventually evolved into Blastoise. He tried taking on Juan at the Gym but Juan was just too strong for him. When Ice's mother died of old age when Ice was 18 yrs old, Juan took him in as his Protoge. Ice and his Blastoise went under extensive training while in the hands of Juan not only forming him into a better trainer but into a better man. Then one day a storm hit Sootopolis. Then a team clad in blue came and raided the Cave of Origins. Juan went down to try and rid the intruders but instead a wandering adventurer did. Kyogre had been awakened but the adventurer put Kyogre back into its deep sleep. 2 years had passed since that day. Ice made up his mind and wanted to Join Team Aqua. He didn't tell Juan this. But he did leave his Blastoise in the care of Juan. Ice was off to climb the ranks of Team Aqua...
