The Hunter's Lover
Her skin was paled against the sun,
The tranquility of the setting one.
The blue eyes drove daggers into him,
The same eyes untainted by sin.
His love, he could have sworn,
Danced with roses and the moon-born.
He pledged to have the one
With the wings as white and golden as the sun.
When he first met her, he vowed to have her.
When he first saw her, her eyes showed a graceful venture.
His mind was captured, his heart enraptured,
He could not reliquish this ravishing sight.
Her delicate limbs moved to a song
The lowly hunter played all the night long.
He never wanted the mood to end,
He never wanted to leave her side again.
The horn blew to call all the hunters back,
The hunter of this story withdrawing from the pack.
He would not leave his beloved star,
He would not subside this fateful desire.
Herm... Yeah, any suggestions?
