The harbor

Aquamarie rubbed her eyes as she stepped into the street from inside the main office. Headquarters was busy today, even this early. There was hardly enough time for the boss to see her, let alone introduce her new group. She pulled the paper out of her pocket and looked at two of the sheets. "I think I'll start with these two." The first sheet had information about a human fellow, named Jack. The second said a female flyba named Quinee. Headquarters didn't even bother telling her where she could find them. Just said they'd be 'around'. "Those white-collars are getting lazier everyday." She shook her head softly, and began walking down the street, not sure where to look, so mostly just checking out the sights.

Jack layed on the grass near some shore-line, awhile away from the harbor.
Some hair fell in his face: which had an almost blank expression. Music could be heard in his general direction as he had the volume on his Mp3 player set to max, as his headphones rested around his neck. His mouth moved with the lyrics of the song, though nothing came out of his mouth.

His hands were behind his head as he watched the clouds in the darkening sky. Occasionally closing his eyes looking as if he's fallen asleep. Water splashed gently against the tip of his boots creating a calm image of him.

Jack turned his head and noticed something blue by the shore walking towards him. Expecting to get some fun out of the rest of the day he took the sling shot our of his backpack which was laying next to him, and pulled a well rounded rock out of the water, placing it into shooting position. He pulled back the sling as far as he could, holding it there for awhile as he carefully took aim. As he waited for the 'strange creature' to creep closer he grinned in delight. Just a minute or two later he let the sling snap as it fired the rock towards the creature known as 'Aqua'.

As careless and dimwitted as Jack was, he bounced up to his feet with a proud laugh completely giving away where he was, and who shot the lil' rock that smacked into Aqua's neck. He snatched his backpack slinging it over his shoulder as he shruged off what he had done and began walking away looking for more interesting things to do.

He plopped down infront of Aqua and placed a finger on his lips as if he had to think extremely hard on why he did such a cruel act, but only a few seconds later he looked up with a look of disgust and confusement. "I felt like it, I had no reason." He stood back up, but only stood to about Aqua's collar-bone area being the lil' pipsqueek kid he was. A loud popping sound appeared as he cracked his knuckled and shrugged towards Aqau, again walking off without a care in the world.

Aqua wanted to suckerpunch the little brat. But since he was just a little kid, she didn't. Instead she pulled some of the ocean water and sent a small stream of it to his face. "Learn manners!"
