 So any ideas? April is a month to celebrate! Another fan fiction contest! Pick the theme! Trivia contest? Let's whoop it up! I officially opened this used guild in April 4 , 2006!

I am always partial to fanart conrtests. Lately my fanfiction talents have been waning. I have just been too preocupied with life to continue the ones I had going ;_; I am so heart broken about that. I love writing fanfiction, but my time is gone now. I also think fan art is better because it takes less time, some people are slower at writing than others so perhaps really good stories won't make it in time and will be totally missed ;_; I dunno, I just like the idea of a fan art contest... or just fan art gift art. People can draw things for the anniversarry. ^_^

Anniversary gift art is good! And we'll try an art contest but if there aren't enough entries, what do we do though?

Perhaps this is why just doing gift art would be best. I would have no idea how to create anything for a contest... ^^: I am a little bad at things like that. One day I will get organized, I swear it!

Well there could be both... Like I said I am bad at co ordinating things ^^; A fanfiction contest is a good idea, but I am worried about time constraints since writing sometimes takes such a long time... Like if there is a fanfiction contest maybe there should be like... a page or word limit, then people aren't reading too long or something and it won't take forever to write... I am trying so hard not to crush the creative process... *flail*

I can't believe it's been a year already!
If you want to do a fanfiction contest you could limit it to themed drabbles, they don't take much time and you'll get more contestants (probably) mrgreen

If we did a fanfiction contest, I wouldn't mind helping with judging or coordinating it. I'm used to doing that stuff for the three Anime Conventions I go to.

Well you already applied for fan art. I guess you can judge fan fiction but you cannot judge a contest you are entered in. Btw, please send 200g to the guild mule to confirm your slot.
