Today, at church, I was attacked by a psychic vampire. It was not fun and I almost fainted. I didn't have time to think and I just barely got out of there before I would be too weak. I cant believe that he chose today at a catholic church on palm sunday out of all times! Here are some things to help you if you are ever attacked:
What to recognize: When you start feeling an odd presence around you dont forget to raise your shield. When you feel your energy being lowered and manipulated then you strengthen your shield. Block your mind by thinking something strongly like "Stop it!" If he/she persists then try to run away or get out of the place you are in.
How to regain your energy: Eat tons of food. (very helpful) Sleep lots.
I am still tired but I have regained most of my energy.
Anyone have any experiences or advice about Psychic Vampires?

Well, as a psychic vampire my self, I am appalled at that. That s not supposed to happen, period. If there is any way to find out who the person, he can be reported to one of the elders and reprimanded. I know it's not my fault, but I apologize anyways. These are the type that give us a bad name!

I've had a pretty sophistocated attack before. I later learned from my martial arts teacher that it's a pretty dangerous move that some of the old martial artists would use to knock out an opponent.
Basically, you hit a certain nerve and it misfires all the the pain recepters in the peripheral nervous system, so all of the nerves in your body are screaming in pain at the same time. After about 30 seconds or so, the system overloads and you black out. You can still feel some pain for up to ten minutes after you wake up.
Anyway, it wasn't from a human being, so that could probably explain why it was so extreme. gonk
If you have good shielding, you can protect yourself from most psychic vamps. A lot of the time they don't even know what they're doing, so it's good to have your barriers up whenever you're going to be around other people.
But yeah. Usually some good food and sleep will help naturally replenish your energy.

I am very sorry for saying that they were bad. I was taught that they stole psychic energy from people from a vampire so I assumed it to be true. I also have had more than one experience where one of them has stolen my energy. Sorry again for my discrimination sweatdrop

there are those who are benign and those that are energy addicts, just like there are wiccans in it solely to help others and those who just want to look cool.

I feel like being colorful. But I live in a town that has meanie-heads and very few nice beings (mostly trees) and a church on every corner. So I always feel like I'm watched. But if I get one of those marshmellow (not good, I really don't know how else to describe it; it's almost a false-sweet-let-your-guard-down feeling) feelings, I've developed a good plan: 1 Pretend to ignore it 2 Quietly obseve it 3 put up an invisible-invisible wall 4 put up a fake and weak wall 5 do random bursts of energy perferably flashy (most of the time they get scared and run away 6 get inside a building as soon as possible

It's worked so far. It's either that or bug the deities for help, which I only do in extreme situations. I only bug them anyway when I'm bored and vice versa.
