I'm curious as to how people feel about WM 23.
I personally was dissapointed with the main event's ending. I'm heartbroken that HBK lost to Cena at Mania. It wasn't a horrible match though.
I loved the Taker Batista match. We were sitting here worried that Batista would end the undefeated streak.... I'm really glad he didn't. I don't really think that Batista is deserving enough to be the one to end that streak.
What do you think about Mania 23? Good/bad/otherwise?

I think WM is good and Mr. Kenndy I'm glad he won the money in the bank match but I'm tick that Shawn Michael lost the match mad

WM23 was average at best, IMO. The main event, Cena vs. Michaels was a good back and forth contest, though I wasn't happy with the ending. I was so hoping Michaels was going to win. (Either that, or when Michaels was in the STFU the last time, that he'd roll over and get a simultaneous pin/tap out situation which held the belt up in a tourney. That'd be awesome booking.)
The Divas match was crap. Total waste of time.
The Hair vs. Hair match was completely too predictable, but the appearance of Shane-o Mac was a good surprise. But, again, it was too predictable.
The ECW match was surprising to me. I thought the New Breed was going to win, but RVD killed Striker. Striker sure knows how to sell some moves. The way he made himself go dead on that monkey flip was insane.
The Undertaker vs. Batista match was better than expected, and I was thoroughly fulfilled with the result. The Deadman is the champ again!
The US Championship match surprised me as well. I thought MVP would wind up winning, but Benoit pulled it off. I'm glad Benoit didn't do the job two years running.
Kane and Khali was a waste of time as well. Khali should NOT have won.
The Money In The Bank ladder match was all I expected. Edge got killed. Finally and Jeff killed themselves, and the man I wanted to win it did so. Now, hopefully Mr. Kennedy can win ANY championship gold, be it on Raw, Smackdown, or ECW.
As I said, I'd rank this an average or above average match. The main event championship matches were a couple of the highlights of the card, as well as the MITB match. Personally, I'd probably rank this with some of the other average Wrestlemania's like 13, 7, or 9.

My rundown of the matches:
Money in the Bank: I think it was a good match and a great way to start out Mania. Just about every superstar has a good chance to shine in the match (with the exception of CM Punk). I'm happy to see Mr. Kennedy win at his first Mania appearence. I wish him good luck in challanging Taker (should he pick Taker's title).
Kahli/ Kane: This looked like a filler match to me. I don't think things happened the way they were supposed to really. It seems like the match ended far too quickly considering the buildup they did for the match.
Benoit/MVP: Gah I hate that MVP got a title shot at mania. Not because I don't like him or anything, but really there are better superstars to challange Benoit to a match at Mania.
ECW originals/New Breed: I was really hoping that at their first mania appearance that the originals would kick a**. I'm glad they won, but the match left me wanting so much more. It really could have... and should have gone hardcore. Not the best fight I've seen RVD, Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, OR Sandman fight.
Lumberjill title match: The only good thing about this match is that it ended quickly. Crappy result, but whatever. I think Ahsley would make a better title holder (she's got the fan's backing.. afterall what pervert doesn't like a playboy covergirl?)
Lashley vs. Umaga: I never once thought that Donald would lose his hair. I wasn't sure HOW Lashley was going to win the match, but I knew it was coming. Vince would do ANYTHING for his company and he definately proved that tonight. It wasn't a great match, it wasn't the worst match either. I liked the end result. I can't wait to see Vince on RAW!
Taker/ Batista: As I said originally I'm very happy that Batista didn't end the undefeated streak of the Undertaker. It was chilling and seriously emotional to see Taker raise his hand at the end of that match. Vince listened to the fans on this one... Everyone was cheering on TAKER (as it should be in my opinion!)
Cena/ HBK: GRRRRRRR. Not the worst match ever, but really.. why would they let Cena beat HBK? And why would they let it happen in the same manner that Cena beat Triple H last Mania? Come on Vince.. get an effin clue.. Stop selling John Cena... We don't want any anymore. Fan girls all over Gaia might hate me for saying this, but seriously... HBK should have won that match. There's no way Cena should still hold the title.
That's my take on all of it. Overall I'd say the ladder match and watching Taker win the title made it worth the money, but I'd say I would have changed a few things if I could have my say. I'd give it an 85%

MITB: This match was a spotfest. But it was an intersting match, alot of moves of the ladders, have to say the leg drop off the ladder on to edge was awsome, then having the lil basterd in the match was funny. Finaly took a beating in this match aside from edge who almost got broke in half. Kenddy wining wasn't that much of a surprise since he's been getting a push.Otherwise a good match, I wish shelton could have been in this match.
Kane/Kahli: Not much to say, I thought Kane might play the injury card, so he could take time off, due to his knee bothering him. I did mark out when Kane slamed Kahli...
Benoit/ MVP: I was actually rather impressed with MVP's wrestling skills. He should another side, he has alot of potiential. Maybe a future top heel on Smackdown. Chirs was awsome as usual.
NB/ Originals: This match should have been hardcore or something, it was ok, I have seen better proformances out of all of them before they weren't on there game like they should have been.
Lumberdumb match: This should not have been on WM, Melina has some talent as does Ashley but this match is nothing compared to matchs of the past with Trish, Lita and other great women talent. I really didn't like the match, rushed and sloppy.
BoB: This was no match of the year canidate, but I did enjoy how the match played out, stunners, and what not smile but seeing vince bald is priceless. It was nice to see Shane and stephine on wwe tv again. Overall just exciting to watch.
Taker/Batista: Did not steal the show like batista was saying in his interviews with outside press, but it was great to see taker on top again, and no better way than with a tombstone! Batista hasn't been the same after his injury, he has been slow sluggish during his matches, and theres no way he deserved deafting Taker's streak, and I'm glad he didn't.
HBK/Cena: Lets just say this was a match of the year candidate. Shawn put on one hell of a show. I was wishing from the bottom of my heart for him to win. Cena was ok but shawn carried him for the majority of the match. Great pace thourghout the whole match. This match stole the show. The pile driver on the steps was great. I had that terrible feeling in the begining of the match that shawn was going to lose, only b/c he had such a very strong start. I wish he would have won so he could of got rid of that disrespectful spinner belt. On top of it he had to tap just like trips last year which is terrible.
Overall a good show, it was worth my money, even though HBK lost I enjoyed that match the most.

All and all I think it was really good. I was sad that Shawn lost to Cena since Shawn is my favorite wrestler, but it was still a good match. And at least the Undertaker Batista match went the way I wanted it to go.

Cena/Shawn: I was kinda hoping that this was Cenas time to finally turn heel, he's one of me favorites, but I still think he needs a good heel turn before everyone starts booing him (oh wait..)
Batista/Undertaker: hoping it was going to turn out to be a hell in a cell or a buiried alive match. But at least the outcome was good
Vince/Trump: didn't care. But I did know austin was going to Stunner Trump Tho, and I called it BEFORE wrestemania mind you
Ashley/Melina: Neither of them deserves the title, Plain and simple.
Money In The Bank: if you asked me this stole the show, Jeff Hardy with the huge drop on edge, Kennedy Doing his finsher (what's the name of that?) on hornswaggle. But hey that's just me
New Breed/Origanals: Didn't really care, don't watch ecw, not that much talent on there besides Lashley, Stryiker and Hardcore
Benoit/MVP: Getting sick of MVP. Why isn't Benoit facing REAL oppenents? Espeacial at wrestlemania?
Kane and Khali, Only cool thing about this match was that kane high angle slammed Khali
they only had ONE tag team match this year
where were Londen and Kendrick? they desreve a spot more then anyone. They should've had a four way tag team championship match. THAT would've completed Wrestlemania
And so ends my rant

In my view, it's the best show WWE has put on in a LONG while. I really enjoyed it and actually felt I got my money's worth.
