Idon't know if that will work, but let's try. If it doesn't, just let the topic die.

Now, let's begin.

I'm sure you have all read or written LOTR fanfictions. But the fact is, some write in spanish, others in french, and most of you in english. You know all how hard and long it is to read a whole fiction in a language that is not yours. So we could create a community to translate the fics. We post the URL of the fics we particularly like here, and someone decides to translate it. I can perhaps translate fictions from english to french (more than from french to english, because I'm afraid I would make mistakes) and I know that Edhellos speaks french, spanish and english very well. And Lindelea is really good at french. So why not try ?

Yeah, those Grey Elvish (not Tolkien elvish) quotes are really annoying.

Sorry, I'm only comfortable with one language at the moment. Wouldn't it be awsome if someone wrote a whole story in a Tolkien created language?

EDIT: I understand they're incomplete, but still... you can get some simple concepts across.

that would be wonderful if some one could actually write a whole story in it just by using the little bit of information about the language behind i know i would read it
of course i would have to keep my translator at my side because even though i can read it some what there are always words that surprise me and i forget plus i never claim to be an expert in the language the only one i know of is dead and that was tolkien him self. sweatdrop

I've done it.

It's buried over at ff.net somewhere; my name is Nimphelos there too.

It's short... since I was writing it at about 3am and in Quenya. I should write more. And learn Sindarin better.

And I can translate from French, Spanish, and Japanese. Though the third would take some time. And into French and Spanish, though not without grammatical errors.

I could probably translate to and from Spanish, which I speak somewhat fluently. And that is a wonderful idea!

I could translate from Spanish!!! (I'm afraid I'll mess up if I translate to Spanish) And I could translate this Grelvish junk into actual Elvish, Quenya or Sindarin, which I am teaching to a group of friends.

I could translate into Spanish (bilingual), and MAYBE french... if it's basic xd
