God, I cannot fathom your goodness,
I cannot know the extent of your grace.
I cannot comprehend all that you are,
I stand in awe; I stand amazed.
The words I know are the words I say,
But they just aren't enough.
God, you are mercy!
God, you are love!
God you are the Prince of Peace!
God, you are the lamb sent from up above!
Why you came, to give your life
For a sinner such as me?
It should not have been you, but I they nailed upon that tree.
I believe I feel as Barabus must have felt,
Knowing that the Perfect one must Die, while I, the guilty one go free.
But all you did, and all you gave
Was all for me; I was saved by your unending grace.
And all because you wanted me
To spend with you eternity.
I still don't understand,
But I worship you anyway.
God you are Amazing,
And that is all that I can say.
