The new bringing of Spring have been an eventful one, and Ariston watched as his best friend was becoming a father, and with that he knew there would be more responsibility and time conflict. He had already spent time with the foals, and they had been an amazing bunch, though it dazed him at how quickly life can change. As Spring came, then would Summer, and Winter, all elevating until the years piled up. It was strange, strange even to him. He wasn't one to get emotional on the subject, but he had been feeling odd as of lately.
He found his comfort back in the darkness, and in it he was able to lay neatly under the stars. The area he was sitting in was an open field, so if any threats were around, he could easy take flight before having to deal with mishap.
Sighing, he put his leg under his chin, and closed his eyes, taking in small bits of relaxation here and there. He wasn't tired enough to sleep, but his body was happy under the comfort of resting.

Lurking around, Heartless was enjoying herself tonight. Not much was going on and she liked that. Lately, she had been rather bored, since it was spring... Everybody was always a busy-body during spring except her. But of course, she didn't mind or really care at all. Her golden eyes glowed as the moonlight hit them, she didn't mind the moonlight as much as the sunlight. She had to admit that the moon had a sort of beautiful aura about it.
Trees pass by as Heartless moves through the forests. Her large dragon-like wings moved in unison with her in an almost rhythmatic sense. And then... Ariston came to mind. He never seemed to leave her even after they were gone. Whenever she was walking, her mind seemed to drift over to him, thinking about where he was... or what he was doing... or who he was talking to.

A familiar scent hit his nose, and it was one he was always happy to acknowledge. It seemed that Heartless was lurking around somewhere, but it wasn't a suprise to him. He wondered if she had noticed him yet, as he lay there being a bright golden figure against the moon. He hadn't seen her for some time, so he suddenly got the burst of energy that he needed to scope out the surrounding area. As he stood their, his wings fell out of their places against his side, and he stared from tree to tree happily. There was no sign of her glowing eyes yet, so he decided to walk back towards the trees.
He wondered what she was up to in this new season, and there were many questions to be asked. He wondered what she did all day, as he was constantly absorbed in the Soquili drama.
He himself was drained from the constant blabberings, so he was relieved to find her on this beautiful night.

She hadn't spotted him quite yet, but it didn't take her long to see the brilliantly colored Kalona on the dark night. Smiling to herself, Heartless knew it was not to be wasted that she came out tonight. Moving closer to him, she would save the formalities, and approached him openly which was very odd for her. She wouldn't do that for anyone...
"Hello Ariston." Heartless spoke just barely above a whisper. For once... it did seem to be a nice night, she could feel the moon's absolute radiance shining on her back. "It's been awhile. How have you been?" Tonight was also a night for oddness... she would hardly ever start the conversation.

"Well hello there Heartless." He said, a bit shocked himself. How strange of her, from their many conversations he was used to her many actions, but this one just seemed completely different! "It has been awhile, too long m'dear." He said, kindly. "I have been alright, Spring is always an exhausting season for me."
Looking at her calmly, he walked a few steps closer to her. It was strange, he was extremely happy to see her, and yet there was nothing that needed to be said, or any reasoning why. It very much confused him, and he shuddered at the thought. He enjoyed her company, and every time she was around he felt better.
"How have you been spending these warm days?" He said, while looking away. "I haven't seen you out much, ya know." He chuckled, only because he knew she didn't go into the sunlight much.

Heartless kept her golden orbs for eyes focused on Ariston. "Yes, just a tad bit too long. At least you've been doing okay." The kalona paused, "Spring? What is this spring you speak of?" Tilting her head slightly, she had never really been exposed to others so it wasn't surprising that she didn't know a lot of things about the outside world.
She stood firm as Ariston approached her. Sometimes she forgot how petite she was compared to him. Looking up at him she answered, "Oh, not really doing anything. Just hiding. It's way too bright out now..."

She was worrying about him? How strange this was getting indeed! "Spring is when I start sneezing obnoxiously. Yesterday and today have been good days, but from all of the flowers blooming, I tend to sneeze like crazy." He chuckled, but noticed she still was confused. Well, there were many versions of 'What Spring brought', but he wouldn't explain it in that context. "Well Spring is, ya know, a season that brings Summer I guess. When we all hide in the Shade because its too hot."
As she stood there, he was able to see little bits of her better because of the moon's shed light. "What have I told you about hiding, there's no reason to." He smiled to her warmly. "Hiding sounds like a better idea actually, there has been so much going on in dramaland here." He said, pausing. "Life keeps getting crazier."

Tilting her head, Heartless was still slightly confused but she would not persist the subject. "I see. Sounds interesting." She hadn't sneezed because of flowers before, but then again she never really went out to where it was possible for flowers to grow. Summer... was always a pain to her. Even when she was hiding, the heat always seemed to get her somehow.
The mare shrugged, "I'm not hiding. Just standing... in the shade." Smirking slightly, Heartless shrugged once more.

"Shrugging as always I see." He said, eyeing her and chuckling. "Is shrugging fun or something? Maybe I should start doing that more often" He overly shrugged his shoulders out, looking awkward in the process. "Well, maybe I should do it in a more natural sense." He smiled to her.
"Well, I figured that the shade is easier on your body, especially when its hot. But, doesn't standing get boring? I like to swim when it gets too hot out." He wondered if she had ever done a thing.
"So has anything changed for you since the last time we talked?" He wondered what had been going on in her life, since his was so drama filled.

Smirking maliciously, Heartless didn't know how to just smile. It wasn't something she ever did, so she never really needed to learn how? Plus, she would never copy something that a regular soquili did and they always seemed to be smiling. "Eh, I don't really get bored at all. It's rather fascinating watching others go about their lives. It tells you a lot about them, about how they... 'tick.' It just helps me torment them even more." Tilting her head almost innocently, "Swimming? What is that?"
"Um, no, nothing's really changed. I haven't really been in contact with the outside world for the past few weeks. Just been hiding where the other soquili never go. It's nice to be alone sometimes. How about you? You've been up to anything new?"

"That is interesting, I completely agree. You and I may observe in different ways, but it is observing nevertheless. And the tormenting part.. I couldn't agree more." He shot her a twisted smile back, only because he was thrilled and impressed that she took the effort to learn about the many idiots. "I get scolded daily because I hang around lessers, but the easiest place to learn about one, is when you are on their side." He chuckled, beaming at her.
"Swimming is err. letting your body glide in the water. I prefer ponds personally, there is no harsh stream to damage my body or hair." He nodded to her, continuing, "It can be a pain with out wings, but it feels amazing on a hot day."
"Heh, I figured that." He grinned at her. "I can agree with the alone part, but I personally haven't been up to anything new. It seems the rest of the busy world has, with new children and such." He looked down, shaking his head confused.

Heartless nodded slightly. "It would be nice to get to know more soquili, but you know... I really don't regret it." She paused slightly, "Why does everybody think you have to be 'popular'? It's such a silly thought..." Looking down at the ground, she had never expressed her own opinions before. This was a definite shock to her.
"It sounds... interesting..." Heartless wasn't thrilled about having water all about her, but she had never tried it so she couldn't say anything. "Children. Have you had any?" The mare was acting almost like a foal, asking such silly questions and not knowing any answers.

There was something different about Heartless, and he finally realized it from her eyes. They seemed to give off a different impression, being full of life and curiosity. He enjoyed that, and it made him smile. It seemed she had changed quite a bit! Luckily though, she was still her old self when it came to other things.
"I guess in a sense, when I first arrived her, I felt the need to be loved by all. That weary feeling is starting to drift away, I mean I am sick of pleasing others, especially when they are inferior in thought." He rolled his eyes, thinking of a few. "Maybe I have changed? But I don't dislike this change. I should focus more on myself anyways, especially when I am better then them all." He snickered to himself, and then looked back at her.
At the next question of hers, he opened his eyes widely. "I.. don't, well at least now.." Mumbling, he shifted his eyes slightly. "I think children would be nice, having little mes running about." He shook his head drastically. "Children, what a perplex issue." He laughed almost in a fake matter.
