So I'm talking to this guy about Sum 41's Pain for Pleasure live. He says they often had a second guitarist come onstage when Deryck went back to the drums and Dave was left as the only guitar. Is this true?

Like in Go Chuck Yourself, they got the guitarist from the band that opened for them to go on stage.

I see. The two of us were talking about whether or not Dave was playing two-part harmony during Pain for Pleasure at this live show in Tokyo. I said he was. The other guy made the argument that he usually has a second guitarist there, but eventually (I'm pretty sure) he saw how I could be right.
