Las palabras de amor... The most I have is a Hot Topic one, but I wish I could have a real one.
[oh the limits of being underage-if i didn't live with my parents, I'd have some.]
Let me hear the words of love...

I don't have actual waist training corsets. I have quite a few corsets tops, and then an actual corset. But it doesn't really shrink anything, despite being plastic boned, since my measurements are kind of odd, and the corset only came in increments of s, m, l rather than... 32 inch chest, 24 inch waist, 34 inch hips.

The best thing for you. if you decide to buy a real one, would be to get a custom made. They're always the best, even though they're slightly more expensive. 3nodding

i have a few corset tops and underwear type ones, the proper ones are so expensive and hard to find! i'm getting a sewing machine in a few weeks and a corset shall be one of my first things to make, i have found some awesome kits with everything you need including simple patterns for like $70... while buying one would be $300-400 ♥

personally, i would recommend using a combination of steel and plastic. the steel holds you in a LOT better than the crappy plastic stuff.
but the one that i definitely love (and wear quite a bit) is my civil war period corset. I love it so entirely much, especially because it is pretty much handmade by my mother and i ;D
but i also have renaissance faire corsets, so i love them too, although there's only boning in the front instead of all around.
Another good alternative to steel boning is using the nylon cable ties that are like, 36 inches long and you can just cut to size. Hope this helps :]
Cheers, Kate.

I have corsets from Hottopic but I am aiming for a waist training corset, wich everywere I look they are about $200 or more >.< But it will be worth every penny when I get one I also have one that comes with thongz... I don;t know if that counts ir not though, the bones in it aren't very strong.

"You may think you are right"
It would be somewhat odd if I wore a corset
