Our percussion group is crazy! The guys are always wipping out ther "you-know-what" and mooning people and throw ing crash cymbals like frisbes....What's your crazy stories?

i am a very crazy drumer!!!
i found that it is very fun to hit yourself numerous timez on the head with a drum stick^_^
pixy stix=for kidz that cant aford crack!!!!
any way i trew a drum stix at my band director and got iss

Poor cymbals... We do interpretive dance when no one is watching xd and we play stick baseball, hang broken rims and heads on the banner behind the percussion section, and we have a stick graveyard in the drum room.

We have a HUGE like 2 foot in diameter frisbee with the wall-mart logo on it. The center of it is matrial and we play ultimate frisbee with it, INSIDE. We also have a " dead stick count " which is a poster with all our names and how many sticks we've broke just playing our instrument.

Hm...yesterday we had band, and imagine this: guys with snare sticks and cymbols. Naumann said to them "Ok, percussion! Stop with the sword fights and get back to playing!" Cymbols were shields which they hit each other in the stomach with. Swords, well, sticks. They kept smacking the bass drum though.

Our drumline is so crazy, we started strippin on the way to state, and there are only two girls on our line!
*no to mention all the tenor heads we busted over our heads...*

Our drum instuctor Tim got really mad at the bass drums one practice. To emphisize he brought his stick down hard, and put a hole in the snare head.

Well, what do we have holes in now? One of our timpanies, one or two snares, the bass drum for drumset, the toms are out of tune, and we never have good snares, so we stick practice pads on them to keep the excess rattling down.

have any of you (males) ever been cup checked by a quad mallet? yeah. pain. um, we stuff people in tuba cases, beat freshman with bass mallets, stuff pencils into bass drums when nobodys looking, sneak pop out to the practice field, pick on freshman from other sections, and one of the guys even asked males to homecoming.

Well, we're in Utah so we're pretty tame compared to this. BUt, one of the guys's goals was to paly the marimba without a shirt on. So he did. Unfortunately, there weren't very many people around.
We have also decided that we will never resolve any exercise we play. We don't play the last note. And we play something called something similar to Chromaticfullnumatosmacksplit. There's a little more to it, but I've forgotten it.
Yeah, we're boring.
