The most important thing in Korean is to learn the alphabet! Do NOT romanize!!! It won't teach you proper pronunciations, as there are so many different ways that people romanize, and it will not teach you how to read and write Korean. In fact, it hinders your learning of the language. I strongly advise against doing it.
