Baku appeared sitting on top of the shrine, kicking his legs childishly. "Hagane...come and play dolls with me....."

Hagane also appeared, looking up at Baku he was still frightened of his old friend but tried to act as calm as he could. "It's been a while old friend...."
Baku smirked and nodded slowly. "I still remember that day Hagane. The way you watched me as I left....the disbelief in your eyes...I swear to Kami...it was priceless and pathetic at the same time..."

Hagane narrowed his eyes. "You didn't have to leave....no matter how badly they may of treated you...it's no right for you to leave and steal from us."
Baku nearly fell over laughing if it wasn't for his icy disposition. "Hagane, they treated us both as monsters....you should have despised them but you aren't the one to have a backbone....letting you live was a mistake....one I intend to rectify!" He yelled as he jumped at Hagane, unsheathing his blade and slashing for his left shoulder.

Hagane quickly parried but barely. He jumped back and threw smoke bombs in random directions which he used the wind to spread around making a cloud of smoke.
Baku licked his lips as he shoved his blade into the icy ground. "Same old tricks Hagane...." He performed hand signs. "Suiryuudan no Jutsu."

Hagane saw the dragon coming and knew what to do. "Suikoudan no Jutsu." From the water that jutted from the other side of the cliff as large water shark came over head, colliding with the dragon. The pressure was so much that it made the air crackle.

Baku smirked as he raised his blade into the air and spun it around, attracting the water like a magnet to metal. The water began to swirl around the blade and the hilt as it iced over. He then threw the blade at Hagane, waiting.
Hagane had no choice but to catch it, the ice was very cold even by Kiri's standards. "As cold as your heart...."
Baku nodded slowly before his expression turned to a glare. "Suirou no Jutsu." The ice exploded and combined with moisture in the air as it formed back into water. An orb of water formed over Hagane, trapping him inside.

Haku appeared, a cloaked form in the mist some meters away. She sang under her breath, like a child speaking a rhyme, "A dance, a dance...Oh! but the jar is in a case, to see, to sea..."

Hagane's eyes widened. He cursed himself silently as he tried to pierce the orb but could not. He then thought of something. Rolling around enough he kicked up some snow. "Tsubame Fubuki!" He yelled as swallows of ice came flying out of the snow and striking Baku in the chest causing him to stagger to the edge of the cliff.

Baku glared as he recalled his blade causing the water prison to fall. It was then he growled as Hagane tackled him off of the cliff taking both of them towards the icy water below.

"Then we would have to get a high view of the village in order to spot it. It seems to be quite cold out so heat will be easy to see as its getting to dusk." Also thinking out loud.

"You two are partially correct. You see, parakeets are usually raised to be indoor animals, this one is no different. So yes it may have a heat signature, but it is slowly fading as it is not accustomed to living outdoors, and in such cold climate nonetheless. So, since it has been loose for two days, I would surmize you have a few hours left before it dies."
