Is anyone here watching the miniseries "Planet Earth" on the Discovery Channel? Or, perhaps some of you are lucky buggers in Canada or Europe who have seen it already... Either way, post your opinion about it here!

Personally, I'm so far finding it fascinating.

Here's the official website: http://www.planet-earth.com

The original trailer that got me so interezxsted can be found there.

For those who haven't heard about it, check out the "Deserts and Ice Worlds" part of the miniseries Sunday, April 1st. See the official website for more dates and information.

Wonderful video...
The show's just as great. ^-^ High definition and everything. It's on every Sunday at 8pm this Sunday and the 28th. It'll be over then.

For those unable to see the show itself, check out the videos of it on YouTube. You'd be amazed at the facts, footage, and species of animal they show....

My favorites that I can remember are the Tibetan fox (not to mention the adorable little pikas that it eats. =( ) the Amur leopard (can't find a video of them on YouTube, though), and the Tibetan wild a** (no laughing, you immature & silly people xd ).

Did you see the segment where they explained how hard it was to get that footage of the snow leopard? It took them two full expeditions. On the first, they didn't get more than a few seconds of footage. The second? The first film of intimate interaction between wild snow leopards (mother and cub) AND the first film of one hunting.
