No, not marriage...
But a short story competition and a poetry competition
I just looked in the PJ Prize Mule, and there is a ton of good stuff in there (I guess left over from the ill fated Summer PJ party)
I think we could have some various creative writing entries... what do you guys think?

Good sleep, Zathura!
I won an essay competition once, in seventh grade. It was about dissidents being the true patriots and won like 700 dollars for it and read it aloud at the fourth of july celebration in my town. After that I decided to throw my life down the ******** toilet.

Meaning, it can be about anything, it can be long or short, it can be something you already written for a school project that you are particularly proud of, it can have a deeper meaning or it can be light-hearted and funny (anyone remember BelieveInMojo/You Rule Supreme/Joby's story featuring the Cool-Aid Jug? xd ) I was also thinking, in order to get as many votes as possible to post the actual contest in GD or somewhere for get lots of votes. So we best feel comfortable with sharing with lots of people. But if I'm voted down on that score, we'll just have it within guild walls. Any other suggestions?

Well count me in! I'd probably enter both, get back in the serious writing habit. (Maybe then I can get back to my journal story!)
I've actually won a poetry contest two years running in another guild, with another account. Maybe I'll use that poem or maybe just make a new one.
Yeah, those all sound like good ideas, for where to put the voting, topics, everything. I've never been the best at organizing things, so I'll leave that in more capable hands.

Sounds kind of fun. ^.^
It's been so long since I've written though I don't know if I even know how to anymore. I don't know if I'd come up with anything for the competition but it is actually making me think about finding time to do some writing again.
