Have you seen any good movies recently? What's your favorite genre?(or director, or actor(ess), ect.)
Lately, I've been watching the Hannibal movies(Red Dragon, Silence of the Lambs, ect) a lot..I have no idea why. Though, most of the movies I would consider to be my 'favorites' are directed by Mel Brooks. My favorite genres are comedy and horror(I loves me some zombie movies, but I haven't seen many of them u_u).

I saw Batman begins. It was ok For a movie it was great but as a batman movie i didn't like it that much. Its Basically a whole new origin story for Batman. Way diffrent from any other i have read or seen. But as a movie it was great. Story was good it kept to the plot. The action was accually good. The effects were nice. In an Artistic sence it was ok could have done much better. So i guess my opinion is that it wasn't that great of a movie.

War of the Worlds. Terrible.
Hollywood's in a script-writing slump. Woohoo! More rehashes of century old cartoons, comics, radio broadcasts, and cinema with juiced-up special effects? No thanks.
<3 Originality.
BTW, Beetlejuice-face. You're not original.

I saw Shaun of The Dead. It was an ok movie. Good humor but not enough for me. It had a few scary moments but if your not a weenie like me it wont be scary to you. I also saw the movie Saw. It was awsome. I only rented it because my bf wanted to see it and i was in the mood for a scary movie. Wasn't scary as much as it was creepy. The story was great and the ending was a total shock. I love how it makes you think you have everything figured out and then boom something new happens. It was awsome!

I saw The Fantastic Four and War of the Worlds recently. You can't take my word for any movie at all because I watch nearly all movies I see. I liked them both a lot, I thought Tom Cruise actually did betterm acting as a normal father than some moronic action hero. I hate his action movies. I also loved Jerry McGuire. Anyhoodle, I loved tha fantastic four but I love watching any marvel comic movie with people with super-human/mutant powers. My favorite movies of all time would have to be the X-Men movies. but The Fantastic Four was awesome. I liked how they depicted the storm and how they got their powers. Because when they showed that in the cartoon, it was lame. I also like how they showed how people reacted to their new powers at first glance, including The Thing's wife.
I'm a person that really gets into movies. I imagine the actors as not actors bu actual people and I like to analyze things about the chracters and why they would make certain dicisions and things like that. I think of what's running through that character's mind instead of thinking of it as the actor thinking of the next line it has to say. so I like nearly all my movies because I can imagine myself in those kind of situations and stuff.
But I might just be too empathetic.
